Over the next few weeks, leading up to the beginning of the 2026 MD High School season, our staff will be releasing our Preseason Power 25. This list will be comprised of public and private schools across the state that we feel have a strong chance of being successful in 2026.

#12 Good Counsel Falcons 

A storied program across the WCAC, Good Counsel enters the 2026 spring with a ton of experience on both sides of the ball with balance and top-tier talent in every facet. An offense that has all the makings of being consistent this spring, look for this junior and senior class to lead at the top and provide a spark, as a highly talented sophomore class provides depth throughout. A deep and talented pitching staff at Coach Ballance's disposal, the Falcons can match up with just about anybody and look for the experience gained over the past few seasons to bode well for this Falcons pitching staff in 2026.
