Centennial 1, Green Valley 0
Centennial edged Green Valley in a classic pitcher's duel on Thursday, behind a combined two-hit shutout from Dominic Tiberi and Andres Soto. Tiberi dominated through six innings, striking out seven, while Soto struck out the side in the seventh to earn the save.
The Bulldogs’ lone run came via an RBI from Jorge Arenas, supporting a complete-game effort by Green Valley’s G. Christensen, who surrendered only four hits in the loss. Despite the Gators’ aggressive baserunning—totaling five stolen bases from Cooper Martin, Jairo Sanchez, and Jet McNelis—they were unable to crack the scoreboard, leaving five runners stranded.

Shadow Ridge 5, Sierra Vista 0
In a clinical defensive performance, Shadow Ridge shut out Sierra Vista 5-0, fueled by a dominant complete-game effort on the mound from senior Payton Bryan. Bryan was the story of the day, tossing seven scoreless innings while scattering six hits and racking up eight strikeouts to keep the Mountain Lions off the board.
Shadow Ridge made the most of their opportunities, using a disciplined approach to draw six walks as a team. Giovanni Galvan led the offense with a multi-hit performance, including a double and an RBI. Kyson Rollo was a constant threat, reaching base in every plate appearance (1-1, 2 BB) while scoring twice and recording a stolen base. Evan Noble and Cameron Gazda also chipped in with RBIs to provide the Mustangs with a comfortable cushion.
Sierra Vista saw bright spots from Michael Credico and Tommy McDonald, who both finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Senior M. Alvarado added a triple, but the Mountain Lions struggled to string hits together, ultimately stranding six runners. On the mound, Nathan Mayorga took the loss, laboring through four innings and surrendering three earned runs.
