2026 MSHSAA Team Rankings: Week 4
April 13, 2026
The Missouri high school baseball kicks off on March 19th, opening day for regular season action under MSHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we published our team previews ahead of the 2026 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down to the official Prep Baseball Missouri Preseason Team Rankings.
Our rankings are broken up into two divisions: large school and small schools. We classify the 'large' schools as those residing in Class 5 & 6, while the small schools make up the remaining MSHSAA classifications. We rank what we believe to be the top teams in the state at that level, as well as highlighting several 'On Deck' teams.
Below you will find our week four team rankings for the 2026 season for Large Schools and Small Schools.

2026 Prep Baseball Missouri Large School Rankings - Week 4
With a defining week ahead packed with ranked matchups across the state, we have updated our team rankings. Since no team has yet managed to separate itself from the pack, our top four remains unchanged, with Kansas City area programs continuing to hold down the top three spots, led by Blue Springs South.
Jackson makes one of the biggest jumps in this update, sliding up three spots into the top five as they continue to stack up victories. The Indians enter the week having won five in a row, with their only loss coming against out-of-state opponent Edwardsville. They have already secured marquee ranked wins over Eureka and SLUH this spring.
SLUH and Francis Howell also move up two spots each into the top ten, landing at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively. Both are coming off undefeated weeks; the Jr. Billikens took two games from CBC and went 3-0 at the Jesuit Classic, while Francis Howell swept Fort Zumwalt West in their conference series.
St. John Vianney jumps to No. 10 while riding an impressive eight-game winning streak. They are followed by Willard, which falls five spots after losing tough battles against Nixa and Rock Bridge. Rounding out the movement, Marquette slides up three spots to No. 12, while Fort Zumwalt West, Oakville, and Lafayette all take small steps back in the rankings.
