The 2026 high school baseball season is underway and, as usual, excitement is present throughout Minnesota. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across the North Star State.

Each week we will be releasing our Power Rankings, Scout Blog, Diamond Notes, and Player of The Week, covering all the bases. Today, we look at the scores from our teams in our Power Rankings.

NOTES
+ No. 1 Cretin-Derham Hall stays unbeaten, handling Irondale 11-2. The Raiders brought power to the middle of the order as Davis Fleming (2026, 1B, Minnesota) and Jack Drieman (2026, OF, Sioux Falls) each left the yard. Drieman added a double and a walk, reaching base in all three trips. Ryder Tri (2028, LHP/1B, Uncommitted) had a big day, going 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI, while Mason Lewandoski (2029, IF, Uncommitted) chipped in a 2-for-3 effort with a double and a run scored.
+ No. 2 Minnetonka jumped on it early and never looked back. Carter Storts (2026, OF, Augustana) broke things open with a three-run double in the second as part of a four-run start. Jacob Musgjerd (2026, 3B, Concordia-St. Paul) got the scoring going in the first with an RBI single and finished 2-for-3. Jonah Ludens (2026, LHP, Kirkwood) gave them four strong innings, allowing three hits while striking out four to earn the win.
+ No. 3 Farmington continues to limit damage. Through three games, the Tigers have allowed just two runs. Shakopee pushed this one the full seven, but Farmington controlled it throughout in a 5-0 win. Lucas Oistad (2027, LHP, Uncommitted) worked five innings, allowing four hits while striking out seven and walking two.
+ No. 4 Andover picked up a 3-1 win over Duluth East. Price Caron (2026, C/OF, UW-Whitewater) led the way offensively, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
+ No. 5 Champlin Park dropped a 7-5 decision to Chanhassen. Donovan Vendel (2026, OF/RHP, Sioux Falls) provided a spark with a solo home run.
+ No. 6 Edina earned a 4-2 win over St. Michael-Albertville behind some timely power. Lincoln Page (2029, OF, Uncommitted) and Chase Nevers (2027, IF, Uncommitted) each homered. Page finished 2-for-3 with a double as well, while Nevers delivered a two-run shot in the second that gave the Hornets a lead they would not give back.
+ No. 7 Mounds View handled Park 5-1 with a balanced effort. The first five hitters in the order each drove in a run. Jack Tretter (2026, IF, St. Mary's) added depth to the lineup with a 3-for-4 day that included two doubles. On the mound, Sawyer Shewmake (2028, LHP, Uncommitted) struck out 11 over five innings to secure the win.
+ No. 8 Mahtomedi ran into a tough one, falling to Orono 14-4. The Zephyrs were held to two hits, a double from Jake Reubish (2026, IF, Uncommitted) and an RBI single from Connor Finn (2026, LHP/OF, Texas Tech).
+ No. 9 Maple Grove put together a complete offensive showing in an 8-2 win over Eden Prairie, piling up 14 hits. Joey Limric (2026, OF, Uncommitted) and Ian Farley (2026, SS, Marshalltown) each went 3-for-4 at the top of the order. Preston Berg (2026, IF, Bethel) sparked a four-run second inning with a leadoff double. On the mound, Damian Seubert (2027, RHP, Uncommitted) and Vince Lenmark (2027, SS/RHP, Uncommitted) combined to keep Eden Prairie in check.
