Basic 3, Green Valley 2
Basic narrowly defeated Green Valley 3-2 on Monday, relying on timely hitting and aggressive baserunning to overcome a late-inning push by the Gators. The Wolves established an early presence and held off a two-run rally in the final frames to secure the road win.
The offensive catalyst for Basic was senior Andruw Giles, who finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and a stolen base. Brandon Lord reached base in every plate appearance, scoring a run and swiping two bags, while Lyndon Lee added a multi-hit performance. On the mound, Julian Villarreal earned the win, tossing 6.1 innings of three-hit ball with five strikeouts. Green Valley's offense was highlighted by Joseph Lusch, who launched a solo home run, and Cooper Martin, who recorded two hits including a double.

Liberty utilized a balanced offensive attack and dominant pitching to secure a 7-2 home victory over Foothill on Tuesday. The Patriots set the tone early, scoring four runs in the first two innings, while their pitching staff combined for 15 strikeouts to stifle the Falcons' offense.
The story of the game was senior Shawn Mack, who delivered a masterclass on the mound. Mack earned the win with six dominant innings, surrendering only one earned run while racking up a staggering 13 strikeouts. Offensively, Casey Arkerson was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Grant Kelly and Austin Rodriguez also turned in multi-hit performances, with Kelly adding three stolen bases to his line. Foothill's highlights were limited to RBI knocks from JoJo Dixon and G. Pugliese.

Centennial outslugged Shadow Ridge in a back-and-forth offensive shootout on Tuesday, overcoming a late seven-run Shadow Ridge rally to secure a 13-10 home victory. The Bulldogs utilized a high-powered attack featuring four home runs to fend off the Mustangs in a game that saw the two teams combine for 30 hits.
The story of the game was junior standout Jake Turner, who continued his dominant season by going 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Turner also earned time on the mound, striking out eight batters in three innings of work. Sophomore TJ Otis and Aiden Keehan also launched home runs and drove in three runs apiece to fuel the Bulldogs' middle-of-the-order production. Shadow Ridge's late surge was led by senior Kyson Rollo, who recorded two hits including a triple and two RBIs, and junior Cameron Gazda, who went 2-for-3 with a double.

Coronado utilized a dominant performance on the mound and a high-powered middle of the order to cruise past Desert Oasis 9-1 on Monday. The Cougars seized control early with a four-run second inning and added another four-run outburst in the fifth to secure the road victory.
The story of the game was sophomore Ryder Metz, who delivered a masterful complete-game performance. Metz stifled the Diamondbacks' bats, surrendering only one run on six hits while racking up 10 strikeouts over seven innings. He was equally impressive at the plate, finishing 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Dawson Schmitt also had a standout day, recording three hits and an RBI, while Jesse Jaime and Santiago Cocon combined to drive in three runs. Desert Oasis' lone run came via a solo home run from senior Lincoln Guillermo.

The story of the game was Irvin, who worked efficiently through the Reed lineup over six innings. The starter surrendered six hits but balanced it with eight strikeouts and only one walk to earn the win. Offensively, Wilson Thomton provided the exclamation point with a solo home run to left field in the third inning. The offensive charge was led by Landon Garrido, who anchored the middle of the lineup with a 2-for-4 performance, including a double and a game-high three RBIs. Landon Pahang earned the win on the mound, grinding through five innings and allowing only three runs while striking out four.
