Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '27 RHP Ben Boman (Rex Putnam).

OREGON PITCHER OF THE WEEK (3/30-4/5)

Ben Boman SS / RHP / Putnam, OR / 2027 The Rex Putnam was dominant in his start last week en route to winning Pitcher of the Week for week 3 of Oregon HS action. The junior struck out 18 batters over 7 innings of work, allowing just 3 hits and 2 walks. Boman had a strong in-game look earlier this spring and is an intriguing follow.
