Risers
#3 Desert Vista
Desert Vista jumps into the No. 3 spot this week as one of the hottest teams in the state, boasting an 18-3 record and continuing to stack wins against quality competition. The Thunder have shown consistency on both sides of the ball, with a balanced offense and reliable pitching staff that continues to limit damage. With their current momentum, they are firmly in the conversation as one of the top contenders in Arizona.
#8 Desert Ridge
Desert Ridge continues its upward climb, jumping three spots into the Top 10. The Jaguars have put together a strong 14-5 record and are showing stregth on both sides of the ball with ability to put up big numbers with their bats and have the arms to keep them in ball games. With improved consistency and the ability to compete with top-tier programs, Desert Ridge is a team trending in the right direction.
#15 Crimson
Crimson makes one of the biggest jumps of the week, climbing five spots behind an impressive 17-1 record. While playing in the 5A classification, the Rattlers have dominated their schedule and continue to find ways to win. Their consistency and ability to handle business against their competition earns them a significant rise this week.
#16 Canyon View
Canyon View continues to build one of the more impressive resumes in the state at 19-4, jumping three spots this week. The Jaguars have consistently found ways to win and are trending in the right direction as the season progresses. Their strong record and steady play earn them a well-deserved bump in this week’s rankings.
Fallers
#4 Brophy College Prep
Brophy slides two spots this week as other teams around them continue to surge. The Broncos remain one of the most talented teams in the state, but with Desert Vista’s strong push and Queen Creek holding steady, they settle into the No. 4 spot for now. Still very much a factor moving forward, no indication of a slide due to performance or talent.
#19 Chaparral
Chaparral drops five spots this week due to the improved production from other teams wihtin the top 25. While still a dangerous team with plenty of talent and arguablly the best starting pitching staff in the state, they have not been able to stack wins at the same rate as others in this range, leading to the slide.
Newcomers
No new teams entered the Top 25 this week, highlighting the depth and stability of the current rankings as teams continue to separate themselves.
