We will be doing the Mizuno Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Each week we go through all the box scores from throughout the week as well as look at submissions turned in by high school coaches to pick our Player of the Week.  There were numerous players with impressive weeks both at the plate and on the mound, but Dagan Grizzle's continued production on both sides of the ball for an undefeated Sallisaw squad makes him our Mizuno Player of the Week.

On the week, Grizzle was a difference maker on both sides of the ball as Sallisaw stayed hot, moving to 14-0 on the year, and 6-0 on the week. Working out of the middle of the lineup, he was 13/24 with 3 HR, added 2 2B, and added 15 RBI. On the mound, the right hander continued his torrid 2026 campaign that has seen him throw multiple perfect games. This week, the towering RHP fired 5 Innings, 1 H, 0 R, and striking out 11. The all-around performance from Grizzle puts him over the top with his ability to impact games in a variety of ways.
