NOTABLE RECAPS FROM WEDNESDAY
#22 Bear River (4) vs. #13 Timpanogos (12)
The Timpanogos Timberwolves put on an offensive clinic to overwhelm Bear River in a decisive 12–4 victory. The Timberwolves' bats were firing on all cylinders from the jump, racking up 14 hits and showcasing impressive depth across the lineup. Corbin Hardy was a standout, finishing with a perfect day at the plate including three hits and two RBIs, while Crew Peterson and Boston Cook peppered the gaps with extra-base hits to keep the carousel moving. On the mound, Canyon Clegg provided a stable foundation, tossing four effective innings to earn the win. Bear River found a brief spark of power when Ethan Higgs launched a solo home run, but they were unable to keep pace with Timpanogos' relentless scoring. The Timberwolves utilized a balanced attack and disciplined plate appearances to pull away early, ensuring they maintained control throughout this one-sided affair.

Bingham (2) vs. #11 Lehi (5)
The Lehi Pioneers showcased a balanced attack and efficient pitching to secure a focused 5–2 victory over Bingham. Lehi’s offense was sparked by Jake Welch, who ignited the lineup from the top with two hits, including a double, and a stolen base. Kannon Whiteley provided the decisive blow with a clutch two-RBI performance, while Dawson Brown and Hazen Elton helped keep the chains moving throughout the contest. On the mound, Sean McAfee set a strong tone, surrendering just two runs over five effective innings to earn the win. Bingham kept the pressure on behind Porter Larsen, who doubled and scored, and Crew Dredge, who tallied two hits and an RBI. Despite a late relief effort from Brayden Hansen, who struck out three to slam the door, and the Miners' defensive focus, Lehi’s ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities and execute in high-pressure moments allowed them to claim the hard-fought home win.

#8 Mountain Ridge (1) vs. Westlake (4)
The Westlake Thunder turned a tight contest into a statement win, outlasting Mountain Ridge 4–1 behind a dominant dual-threat performance from Korbyn Sorensen. Sorensen was the undisputed protagonist of the afternoon, surrendering just one earned run in a complete-game masterpiece while simultaneously providing the game's decisive blow—a two-run home run.
Despite being out-hit 9 to 7, Westlake made their opportunities count, aided by a perfect 2-for-2 day at the plate from Tyson Lafferty. Mountain Ridge found plenty of base runners, led by multi-hit efforts from Dax Davis and Ryker Morton, but they struggled to solve Sorensen with runners in scoring position. Karson Fankhauser was sharp on the bump for the Sentinels, racking up seven strikeouts over five focused innings, but four defensive miscues proved too heavy a burden for the Mountain Ridge offense to overcome.

Faith Lutheran (NV) (1) vs. #1 American Fork (8)
The American Fork Cavemen delivered a clinical all-around performance to dismantle the Faith Lutheran Crusaders in a commanding 8–1 victory. The story of the day was the absolute dominance of Talon Willardson on the mound; the Cavemen starter was untouchable through six innings, racking up 10 strikeouts and allowing just three hits in a stifling performance. While Willardson silenced the Crusaders' bats, the American Fork offense went to work, led by a scorching day from Cruz Adams, who finished just a home run shy of the cycle with a double and a triple. Bode Gaggero was a constant thorn in the side of the Faith Lutheran pitching staff, reaching base four times, while Kenny Johnson and Cash Taiese provided the necessary punch to drive in multiple runs. Faith Lutheran struggled to find a rhythm against Willardson’s electric stuff, with their lone run coming late via a Colin Yeager base hit. Despite a solid four-inning opening shift from Crusaders starter Leighton Canarelli, American Fork’s relentless pressure and elite pitching ensured they maintained control from the first pitch to the last.
