TENNESSEE - We're excited to unveil our Power 25 countdown rankings around the state. Our Prep Baseball staff worked diligently at ranking these top 25 teams, while looking at their records, scores, and player performances over the previous season. These rankings will obviously continue to change as teams play more games as the season goes on. But for now, let's begin our countdown on our 2026 Power 25.

Today, we continue our countdown by looking at the No. 1 spot, which belongs to the Farragut Admirals.

POWER 25 COUNTDOWN: NO. 1 📊

FARRAGUT ADMIRALS

The Farragut High baseball program finished the 2025 season going 32-11 and winning their 4th straight state championship. Coming into the spring, the Admirals look to do the unthinkable and win five in a row. The lineup will get back six returners from the championship team with two big transfers, but the rotation will have to replace all of its top guys. 

The offense will be the strength of the team and will be tough to face night in and night out. 2026 Eastern Michigan C Jake Harris returns to the top of the lineup where he put up great OBP numbers and also was solid behind the plate where he will be able to stick long term. 2026 Lipscomb commit OF Aidan Flagg should be the cleanup hitter for the Admirals. Aidan had multiple big home runs and extra base hits in the state tournament to propel Farragut to another trophy. 2026 Pellissippi State CC commit 1B/RHP Travis Brummitt will return to the middle of the order and lock down first base. Travis has great size at 6’5 235 lbs with a good power profile. 2026 OF Neyland Williams is a left-handed hitter who hit leadoff in 2025 and set the tone down the stretch for the Admirals as an on base machine. 2026 OF Zain Kureshi-Smith is a tooled up outfielder that caused havoc lower in the lineup for the Admirals. Zain has 6.48 speed along with some pop with mid-90s exit velocities. 2027 INF Braxton Tye hit towards the top of the order and had some big hits in the state tournament. Braxton is a talented infielder with some good pop of exit velocities up to 100 MPH along with some good speed. Braxton is one of the best uncommitted players in the 2027 class in Tennessee. Hardin Valley transfer 2027 Stetson commit C/INF Mason Shelton is a Future Game alum where he showed to be a hit machine as a left-handed bat. At the Future Games, Mason was one of the leading hitters with multiple barrels in every game. In the field, Mason has the ability to play any position which should get him on the field early on for Stetson. Mason should plug into the leadoff spot for Farragut making a great lineup even better. Another transfer coming from Hardin Valley is 2027 UTIL Caleb Van Lant who could plug into the middle infield or the outfield. Caleb has good size with big pop consistently in the upper 90s along with 6.71 60 speed. One young newcomer to the lineup will be 2028 INF Cole Creasman who is a left-handed bat with great size standing at 6’2 210 lbs. At the plate, Cole has a big power profile already putting up 104 exit velocities along with 6.84 speed which is impressive for his size. In the field, Cole is a true third baseman with a cannon of an arm already up to 88 MPH. 

The lineup comes into 2026 absolutely loaded and should put up big numbers this spring. The question marks for the Admirals are on the mound where they must replace some important seniors. Looking at past history, there is little doubt that Farragut will find a way to be in the mix at the end of May.
