NOTES

+ No. 2 Minnetonka had control early with a 7-2 lead through three, but No. 8 Chaska flipped it. The Hawks scored six unanswered to steal an 8-7 win. Jacob Musgjerd (2026, IF, Concordia-St. Paul) led the Skippers’ offense, going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, while Nolan Bartz (2026, IF, Uncommitted) jumped things with a two-run homer in the first. Chaska answered with balance and pressure. Matthew Welter (2026, 1B, Augustana) went 2-for-3 with two doubles and added three scoreless innings out of the bullpen with four strikeouts. Owen Strey (2026, SS/RHP, Creighton) created the winning run, swiping second and third before scoring on a catcher error, then closed it out with two innings on the mound to earn the win.

+ No. 4 Andover continues to stack wins. Carter Daluge (2028, 1B, Uncommitted) went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, while Price Caron (2026, C/OF, UW-Whitewater) reached in both trips, stole two bases, and scored twice to keep the pressure on.

+ No. 7 Champlin Park struck first with two runs in the opening frame on an RBI single from Rhys George (2026, OF/SS, Uncommitted) and an RBI double from Mac Warren (2028, 1B/RHP, Uncommitted). Blaine answered right away with four in the second and limited the Rebels the rest of the way.

+ No. 8 Maple Grove rolled behind a complete-game effort from Evan O’Dwyer (2026, RHP, Augustana). He went the distance, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out 10 in a 12-0 win over Roseville. Vince Lenmark (2027, IF, Uncommitted) stayed productive out of the nine spot, going 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base, and three RBI.

+ No. 9 Mahtomedi bounced back with a 7-0 win over Hastings, riding a true two-way effort from Tino Foster (2027, OF, Uncommitted). He went 3-for-3 with two RBI at the plate and handled all seven innings on the mound, striking out five in a shutout performance.
