Game: Thompson vs. Prattville
+ OF/RHP Wyatt Williams (Thompson, 2026) showed high-end offensive impact in this look, doing damage early and forcing pitchers to adjust. The Alabama commit jumped a first-pitch fastball in his first at-bat and absolutely hammered it to deep left-center for a no-doubt solo home run, coming off the barrel at a triple-digit exit velocity. Followed it up in his next trip by reaching out and staying through an off-speed pitch, driving it out to left field for another no-doubt home run. Strong, physical right-handed hitter who shows easy juice and doesn’t have to overswing to produce it, with the ability to impact different pitch types. Was pitched around the rest of the night, drawing two walks without seeing another pitch in the zone. Also a staple at the top of the rotation with a mid-90s fastball, but the offensive impact carried this look.
