Tennessee Diamond Notes: Week 6

The Tennessee Diamond Notes is back for 2026 and will focus on highlighting some top performances across the state based on nominations from high school coaches. We will highlight those positions players, pitchers and two-way players every Wednesday of the high school season that are deserving to be highlighted based on their performance.
Thanks to the many high school coaches that sent in nominations this week.
For now, let's take a look at those players from across the state highlighted in this week's Tennessee Diamond Notes.

TENNESSEE DIAMOND NOTES: WEEK 6
2026 C/3B Easton Sullivan (Greenfield HS)
Sullivan turned in one of the loudest weeks at the plate, going 10-for-13 with 11 RBIs, including 2 home runs, 3 doubles, and 6 runs scored. The highlight came in a big moment, launching a grand slam vs. Dresden, showcasing his ability to impact the game with one swing.
2027 P/C Will Edwards (Greenfield HS)
Edwards impressed on both sides of the ball. On the mound, he worked effectively in a district win, allowing 5 hits and 2 ER while striking out 9. Offensively, he added a 5-for-13 week with 5 RBIs, a home run, and a double, continuing to show value as a true two-way contributor.
2028 C/OF Crew Chance (CPA)
Chance continues to trend upward offensively, posting a .476 average and 1.284 OPS with 10 hits (7 singles, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 HR). His performance in a key series vs. Brentwood Academy highlighted both his consistency and ability to produce in big moments.
2027 SS/RHP Landen Hurst (Sevier County HS)
Hurst filled up the stat sheet across 7 games, hitting .500 (13-for-26) with a 1.228 OPS, adding 5 doubles, 9 runs, and 8 stolen bases without a strikeout. He also logged 8 innings on the mound with 9 strikeouts. His standout performance came against Bell County (KY), going 4-for-5 with 3 RBI, 3 runs, and 2 SB.
2029 1B/RF/LHP Zane Miller (Sevier County HS)
Miller delivered a dominant two-way stretch. At the plate, he hit .421 (8-for-19) with a 1.015 OPS, while on the mound he threw 6.1 innings with 9 strikeouts and no walks, allowing 0 earned runs. He starred against Bell County (KY), going 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and 4 runs, and followed it with a strong outing vs. Lenoir City.
2029 RF/DH/RHP Benny Greene (Sevier County HS)
Greene showed extra-base ability, going 6-for-15 (.400) with 5 doubles and 9 RBIs. He also contributed on the mound with 5.2 innings of 1-run ball (0 ER) against Greeneville. His week was highlighted by a 5-RBI performance vs. Bell County (KY).
2026 OF Keaton Anderson (Clarksville HS)
Anderson had an electric week, going 8-for-12 (.667) with a 1.667 OPS, adding 7 stolen bases and 8 runs scored. On the season, he’s been one of the most dynamic hitters in the state, batting .507 with 36 SB and a 1.262 OPS.
2026 LHP Braden Taylor (Clarksville HS)
Taylor delivered a strong outing, tossing 6.1 innings with 8 strikeouts, allowing just 1 earned run on 4 hits with no walks, showing excellent command and efficiency.
2028 RHP Edward Brabham (Knoxville Catholic HS)
Brabham was dominant in a complete game effort, throwing 7 innings with 4 hits, 1 run, and 6 strikeouts while pounding the zone with 89% strikes, highlighting advanced control.
2027 P/SS Gaven French (Heritage HS)
French turned in one of the most impressive all-around performances, striking out 14 over 7 shutout innings while also producing offensively with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, and 9 runs scored. His week included a CG shutout vs. William Blount and a 4-for-4, 2-HR game vs. Greeneville.
2027 3B Brayden Littleton (Heritage HS)
Littleton continued to swing it well, going 10-for-23 (.435) with 2 HR and 10 RBIs. He delivered a big performance vs. Westfield (IN), going 2-for-3 with a HR, double, and 5 RBIs.
2026 SS Emre Roan (Lausanne HS)
Roan put together an explosive week at the plate, going 7-for-11 (.636) with a .692 OBP, adding a double, triple, home run, 5 RBIs, and 8 runs scored, showing complete offensive production.
2027 INF Rhett Hayes (Giles County HS)
Hayes put together a strong, efficient week at the plate, hitting .500 with a .556 OBP and 1.056 OPS, collecting 4 hits, a run, and a walk. He showed a steady approach and the ability to consistently find the barrel.
2028 OF/INF Canon Day (Houston HS)
Day made the most of his opportunities, totaling 6 hits in 3 games while adding a home run, 6 RBIs, and 2 walks. The extra-base impact stands out early for the young bat.
2028 RHP Drew McLemore (Giles County HS)
McLemore delivered a quality start, tossing 5 innings of shutout baseball, allowing just 4 hits while striking out 5. He filled up the zone (59.5% strikes) and limited damage throughout.
INF Aaron Hise (Boyd-Buchanan HS)
Hise had a huge offensive stretch, going 7-for-13 (.538) with 9 RBIs, adding 2 doubles, 2 walks, 6 runs, and 4 stolen bases. A complete offensive performance with impact and speed.
RHP Kole Carter (Cumberland Gap HS)
Carter turned in one of the most dominant outings of the group, throwing a complete game 4-hitter with 0 runs allowed, walking just 2 and striking out 15. A true command-and-stuff performance.
OF/INF Brodie Lee (Cumberland Gap HS)
Lee reached base at a high clip, hitting .667 with 6 hits, 6 runs, and 6 walks. His ability to get on base and create havoc stood out all week.
RHP Hutch Weaver (Nolensville HS)
Weaver was dominant on the mound, working 8 innings while allowing just 2 hits and 0 runs, striking out 12 hitters. A complete, overpowering performance from start to finish.
INF Ryan Newell (Nolensville HS)
Newell was one of the most productive hitters of the week, going 9-for-15 with a 1.714 OPS, including 2 doubles, a triple, and a home run, driving in 11 RBIs while also going 3-for-3 on stolen bases.
INF Sean Birkofer (PCA)
Birkofer continued to produce offensively, hitting .462 with a double, triple, 4 RBIs, and 4 runs scored, while adding a stolen base. A well-rounded offensive showing.
