Welcome to the WIAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

We obtain most of our scores by following teams on GameChanger and on X, as well as through websites like Bound and MaxPreps. Hart provided the offensive spark with a massive game-tying three-run HR in the second, while Cayden Heier paced the nine-hit attack with a 3-for-4 afternoon. The Pirates showcased defensive excellence with an error-free performance, highlighted by Adams handling 18 chances, as Searin Mueller stepped in to secure the save. On the other side of the diamond, Ryan Martin led the Redbirds with a 2-for-3 effort and an RBI, helping his squad keep pace alongside an aggressive running game that featured four stolen bases. Despite the loss, De Pere’s defense remained equally sharp, playing clean baseball and turning a double play to stay within striking distance. Landon Atkisson sparked the offense by going 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, while Mason Chittendon added a massive two-run blast as part of a multi-hit afternoon. The Cardinals showcased their depth as Dane Krista, Thompson, and Jacob Bleskacek also recorded multiple hits, with Thompson contributing a key two-run double during a five-run fourth inning. On the mound, Collin Balsiger navigated five innings to earn the win, surrendering only one earned run while racking up 6 Ks. Hunter was masterful on the mound, racking up 12 strikeouts and allowing just one hit over four scoreless innings, while Redling anchored the offense by going 3-for-4 with 4 RBI and three runs scored. The Tritons' explosive 11-run third inning featured extra-base hits from Jackson Bouthilet, Bumgardner, and Kyan Redling, effectively putting the game out of reach early. Notre Dame also dominated on the base paths with 12 stolen bases, including multiple swipes from Bouthilet, Bumgardner, and Reineking.
