Legacy 6, Las Vegas 2
Legacy erased an early 2-0 deficit and answered immediately, scoring three times in the bottom of the 1st on the way to a 6-2 win over Las Vegas.
Elijah Thompson delivered the biggest swing of the day, launching a two-run home run in the 1st to give Legacy the lead for good. Tyson Lake impacted the game in multiple ways, finishing with a triple, RBI, three runs scored, and three stolen bases, while Hunter Campbell and Easton Lake each drove in a run. Legacy only finished with five hits, but paired them with four walks, two hit-by-pitches, and aggressive baserunning to create separation.
On the mound, Manulua Mann settled in after the first inning and turned in 6.1 strong frames, allowing two earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts on the way to the W.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas 5, Rancho 3
Mater Academy East Las Vegas (MAELV) utilized a dominant performance from senior Colin Tocker to edge out Rancho 5-3 on Wednesday. MAELV overcame an early deficit with consistent scoring in the middle innings, backed by a collaborative effort on the mound to stifle the Rams' offense.
The star of the game was Colin Tocker, who put together a perfect day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple. Tocker drove in two runs and scored twice, accounting for much of the MAELV offense. Freshmen Diego Robles and Benson Ornelas also contributed significantly, with Robles collecting two hits and an RBI. On the mound, senior Daniel Virrueta and freshman Joseph Gallo combined to allow just one earned run over seven innings, striking out seven batters to secure the victory. Rancho was led by Johnny Ramos, who reached base in every plate appearance and was a menace on the basepaths with four stolen bases.

Basic 2, Green Valley 1
Basic walked it off in the bottom of the 7th, as Troy Southisene launched a solo home run to lift the Wolves to a 2-1 win over Green Valley on Thursday. In a game where runs were tough to come by, Basic leaned on clean defense, steady pitching, and one final swing from its senior shortstop to finish it off.
Southisene was the difference maker, finishing 2-for-4 with the walkoff homer, an RBI, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Lyndon Lee delivered Basic’s first run with an RBI single in the opening frame, while Darren Guzman and Brandon Lord each added a hit. On the mound, Lincoln Evans did the heavy lifting, working 5.1 innings of one-run ball with four strikeouts, Jeremiah Mendoza bridged the late innings, and Matthew Kelley recorded the final out to close it down.
Green Valley stayed in it all game and tied things in the 6th when Joseph Lusch lined an RBI double to left. Isaiah Alba paced the offense with a 2-for-4 day and a run scored, while Jet McNelis set the tone on the mound from the start, spinning six strong innings and adding a double at the plate.

Centennial 8, Shadow Ridge 7 (8 innings)
Centennial survived a back-and-forth extra-inning battle on Thursday, outlasting Shadow Ridge 8-7 in eight innings. The Bulldogs struck first on a Jake Turner solo shot in the opening frame, built back a lead with a three-run 2nd, then answered again late after Shadow Ridge erased a four-run deficit in the bottom of the 7th.
The All American Jake Turner was in the middle of everything for Centennial, finishing 3-for-3 with a home run, triple, 2 RBI, and 2 walks. Aiden Keehan also turned in a big day, going 3-for-4 with a triple, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored, while Terrell Otis added two hits and drove in a pair. In the 8th, Centennial found the response it needed as Turner tripled home the go-ahead run before Otis followed with an RBI single to create just enough separation.
Shadow Ridge made its push late, plating four in the bottom of the 7th behind a three-run homer from Evan Noble and an RBI single from Eddie Peterson to even things at 6-6. Noble led the way offensively, going 3-for-5 with a home run, 3 RBI, and 3 runs scored, while Peterson added three hits, including a double, with 2 RBI.
