No. 7 Huntley vs. Barrington

Kyle Ziebell, INF, Huntley, 2026
Lake Land JC commit. Currently ranked No. 122 in the state’s senior class. The Senior Future Games alum is a 5-foot-11, 171-pound, quick-twitch athlete that hit leadoff for the Red Raiders. Ziebell showed well at the plate, delivering a key swing in the fourth inning comeback with a two-run home run over the left field wall to give Huntley the lead. He works with a controlled swing and shows feel for the barrel with pull-side power. Defensively, he impressed with the ability to pick the ball cleanly and showed confident hands.
Drew Borkowski III, OF, Huntley, 2026
Heartland CC commit. Currently ranked No. 90 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame. Hit cleanup in the Huntley lineup and played center field. Borkowski collected a single to center in the second inning and showed aggressiveness on the bases, swiping third, later scoring the first run of the game for the Red Raiders. Brokowski worked on the barrel throughout his at-bats showing the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Defensively, showed range in center field.
Travis Dudycha, RHP, Huntley, 2026
Heartland CC commit. Currently ranked No. 282 in the state’s senior class. 6-foot-3, 230-pound frame. Entered out of the bullpen for Huntley and turned in an impressive look in a limited appearance. Dudycha worked exclusively from the stretch with a ¾ slot, attacking the zone early with a two-pitch mix over his 1+ innings. His fastball sat 83-86 mph, played heavy with arm-side run and sink, and flashed a 73-76 mph slider with tight spin and sharp bite. Final line: 1.1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K.
Gavin Rettberg, OF, Huntley, 2026
Uncommitted. Played left and hit 7th in the lineup for Huntley. Rettberg produced in every at-bat, finishing 2-for-2 with a home run in the bottom of the sixth to extend the lead, a single driving in one, and a sacrifice fly, totaling three RBIs while scoring twice. He showed fast hands with a compact swing and consistent feel for the barrel, working with a hitterish approach throughout. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
Joseph Mueller, OF, Barrington, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 198-pound frame with strength throughout. Batted fifth in the lineup for Barrington. Mueller extended the early Barrington lead in the first with a two-run home run to left field. He also contributed an RBI groundout later in the game and was hit by a pitch, consistently producing hard contact throughout. He showed quick, strong hands with bat speed and pull-side power. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
Bowie Heintz, 3B, Barrington, 2027
Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 167-pound, athletic frame. Batted third in the lineup and played third base. Heintz was a tough out throughout, showing minimal stride in two-strike counts, fighting off touch pitches, working counts in each at-bat and drove in the first run of the game with an infield single in the first inning. He added another hit in his second at-bat, driving in another run. Defensively, he showed clean actions at third, keeping the ball in front and making each play. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
Dylan Ignacek, LHP, Barrington, 2026
Southeastern CC commit. Currently ranked No. 324 in the state’s 2026 class. Got the start on the mound for Barrington and showed some quality stuff. Ignacek worked with a controlled delivery from a ¾ to higher ¾ slot, mixing looks and timing throughout while showing the ability to throw all pitches in any count. He utilized a four-pitch mix, with a fastball at 75-79 mph (2300+ rpm), a changeup in the low-70s, a slider at 68-72 mph with tight sweeping action, and a curveball in the mid-60s (2400+ rpm) with gradual break.
Max Wezeszcz, MIF, Barrington, 2027
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame. Batted leadoff for Barrington. Wezeszcz showed well at the top of the order, reaching base in all four at-bats and scoring twice. He led off the game with a double to center field and later came around to score the first run. A 4.37 home-to-first runner, he showed quick feet and was an aggressive presence on the bases. At the plate, he worked with a patient approach and quick hands. An uncommitted name for schools to follow.
