HITTER OF THE WEEK

Trey Vaughn OF / RHP / Snow Canyon, UT / 2026

Trey Vaughn put on an absolute clinic at the plate this week, serving as the undisputed engine for a Snow Canyon offense that continues to sit near the top of the 4A rankings. Vaughn was nearly impossible to retire, highlighted by a monster performance in a statement win over Desert Hills where he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two home runs and a staggering seven RBIs. He punctuated his week with another long ball against national powerhouse Bishop Gorman, finishing the three-game stretch with seven hits and ten RBIs. With elite barrel control and a massive 1.538 slugging percentage for the week, Vaughn’s blend of pure power and run-producing capability has solidified his status as one of the most dangerous middle-of-the-order threats in the Beehive State.

Highlights: 3 GP / 13 AB / 7 H / 3 HR / 10 RBI / 6 R / .538 AVG / 1.538 SLG

PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Keaton Nordick RHP / Pleasant Grove, UT / 2026

Keaton Nordick turned in a masterful, career-defining performance on the mound this week, delivering a signature "ace" outing to dismantle a 1-loss Spanish Fork lineup. The BYU commit was absolutely dominant from the first pitch, racking up a staggering career-high 15 strikeouts over six clinical innings of work. Nordick allowed just a single hit and consistently lived in the zone, striking out the side three different times to silence a Dons offense that had been averaging nearly eight runs per game. His command and elite spin rates were on full display as he effectively neutralized every threat, providing the shutdown dominance needed to anchor the Vikings' rotation and hand Spanish Fork only it's second loss of the season.

Highlights: 6.0 IP / 15 K / 1 BB / 0 ER / 1 H / (W)
