Welcome to the WIAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

We obtain most of our scores by following teams on GameChanger and on X, as well as through websites like Bound and MaxPreps. Coaches are also able to submit their own team’s box scores to us via email at [email protected]. Early offensive execution and a combined 10-strikeout performance from the pitching staff led Muskego to a 3-2 victory over Burlington on Friday. The Warriors set the tone in the first inning as Callen Tomsyck laced an RBI single and Maddux Lessard added a sacrifice fly, followed by a Ty Glysch sacrifice fly in the second to build a 3-0 lead. Burlington mounted a comeback effort with runs in the third and fifth innings, but Muskego reliever Mason Horn entered in the seventh to record the final out and secure the win.

Tyson Grulkowski ignited the defensive effort on the mound, racking up 6 Ks and allowing just one run on two hits over 2.1 innings. Jake Kardelis earned the win in relief, striking out four while scattering three hits across 4.1 frames. Offensively, Tomsyck finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored, while Cooper Wendt provided a spark by reaching base twice and stealing two bags. Burlington was led by Whiteside, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Kadan Ensign, who threw six innings with 6 Ks in the complete-game effort.

Starter McIntyre fanned four and scored twice to aid his own cause, while Wolter finished with a hit and two RBI. Waukesha West was led by Jackson Farina, who went 2-for-3 with a double, and Dylan Schreiber, who drove in a run in the opening frame. Carter Hyland started for the Wolverines, allowing two runs on four hits across three innings of work.

For Brookfield East, Cooper Haas went 2-for-2 with an RBI double and Sam Wells added a run-scoring single in the losing effort.

Schwarz was spectacular in relief to secure the save, retiring all but one batter he faced while striking out five over 2.1 hitless frames. Offensively, Schwarz led the Red Hawks by going 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Agnew and Gavin Cole each added two hits apiece. Vogt paced the Middleton attack with a 3-for-3 performance and three RBI, while Jackson Guerrero finished 1-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.

Keegan Kruzan recorded the lone hit for Wausau West and took the loss on the mound, striking out three in 2.2 innings.

Bay Port added insurance in the fourth on a run-scoring single by Cayden Heier and pushed the final run across in the sixth following a Pulaski defensive error.

Lawson’s final line was a study in efficiency, as he issued only one walk over seven innings and threw 57 of his 83 pitches for strikes. Cayden Heier led the Pirates' bats, going 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Eli Hart reached base twice and utilized his speed to swiper two bases. Pulaski’s Gavin Sikorski managed the lone hit for the Red Raiders with a fourth-inning single. Brock Wiedeman took the loss for Pulaski, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out four over five innings of work.

Offensively, Kewaskum was led by Liam Stoffel, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a double, and Brayden Loehr, who finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and two stolen bases. Kyle Heling recorded the lone hit and RBI for the Redwings, while Ryan Stephen took the loss, striking out six in five innings of work.

Offensively, Ortiz led the charge going 1-for-3 with two RBI, while Bennett Schueller added a double and a run scored. Hamilton's Ben Zimmer drove in their lone run with a sacrifice fly, and Colin McMillan took the loss, striking out four over 4.2 innings.
