Prep Baseball Minnesota

The 2026 high school baseball season is underway and, as usual, excitement is present throughout Minnesota. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across the North Star State.

Please keep checking back throughout the season as we will be your one-stop shop for everything related to high school baseball across the state.

Each week we will be releasing our Power Rankings, Scout Blog, Diamond Notes, and Player of The Week, covering all the bases. Today, we look at the scores from our teams in our Power Rankings.

NOTES

+ Chaska left no doubt, rolling past Hopkins 18-2 behind a 12-run sixth inning that broke it open. Owen Strey (2026, SS, Creighton) did most of the damage, going 2-for-2 with a double and a grand slam, finishing with five RBI and three runs scored. On the mound, Thomas Leeper (2028, RHP, Uncommitted) set the tone, working three scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out three.
