Centennial 5, Basic 3
Centennial utilized explosive power and consistent relief work to secure a 5-3 home victory over Basic on Monday. Despite being out-hit for much of the game, the Bulldogs capitalized on a late-inning surge to overcome a resilient Wolves squad.

The story of the game was sophomore Aiden Keehan, who provided the decisive blow with a solo home run. Senior Kane Barber anchored the middle of the order, going 2-for-3 with an RBI, while sophomore Jaxon Burr added two hits and an RBI of his own. On the mound, Elijah Wilcut delivered a strong start, striking out three over five-plus innings. Tyler Bustamante earned the win in relief, closing out the final 1.2 innings without allowing a hit. Basic was led by Lyndon Lee and Andruw Giles, who each collected two hits, while Derek Wenzel struck out three in a complete-game effort.

McQueen Lancers 12, Spanish Springs 2
The McQueen Lancers exploded for eight runs in the fourth inning to cruise past Spanish Springs 12-2 on Tuesday at McQueen High School. The Lancers’ relentless offense pounded out nine hits and capitalized on five walks and multiple hit-by-pitches to end the game early.

The middle of the McQueen order was unstoppable, led by Huddy Culbertson and Ky Dimond. Culbertson finished a perfect 3-for-4 with three RBIs, while Dimond fell just a home run short of the cycle, tallying three hits and two RBIs. Brooks Porter, who recently showcased a massive 105.1 MPH exit velocity at the Reno Preseason ID, continued his hot streak with a two-run single during the fourth-inning surge. On the mound, Jaxon McCann delivered an efficient start, striking out five over five innings while surrendering just two runs. Spanish Springs was led by Grady Ortiz, who collected two hits, while Landon Pahang recorded a triple in the loss.

Clark 17, Mojave 2
Clark unleashed a dominant offensive onslaught to cruise past Mojave 17-2 on Tuesday. The Chargers’ lineup was relentless, racking up 14 hits—including three home runs—in a game shortened to four innings due to the mercy rule.

The veteran leadership of senior Nick Armstrong was on full display as he blasted two home runs and drove in a game-high five runs. Sophomore Hudson Fraidenburg also cleared the fence with a home run, finishing the day with four RBIs and a perfect 1.000 batting average. Sophomore Brody Ricci earned the win on the mound, tossing two hitless innings with five strikeouts, while also contributing two hits and two RBIs at the plate. Mojave found a late spark from freshman Elijah Agee, who recorded an RBI double.
