Compiled from submissions by high school coaches statewide, this feature highlights standout individual efforts from the previous week and takes a closer look at the players who made the biggest impact on the diamond.

Braxton Franklin C / RHP / Geraldine High School, AL / 2029 A productive week at the plate, going 5-for-9 (.556) with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 7 runs scored, while drawing 3 walks and swiping 4 bases.

Kooper Rogers RHP / Geraldine School, AL / 2028 Contributed on both sides, going 5-for-10 (.500) with 2 doubles, 3 runs scored, and a stolen base. Also earned a win on the mound, tossing 5 innings with 4 strikeouts.

Jon Beck Wade OF / OF / Geraldine School, AL / 2028 Showed power at the plate, going 5-for-10 (.500) with 2 HR, 7 RBI, and 4 runs scored, while adding a stolen base.

Brady Jones SS / RHP / Oakman, AL / 2026 Racked up hits all week, going 11-for-17 (.647) with 4 doubles and 5 RBI. Also earned a complete-game area win, working 7 innings with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts to secure the victory.

Hampton Hall SS / 2B / Oakman, AL / 2028 Delivered in a key moment, going 9-for-17 (.529) with a double, 3 RBI, and 7 runs scored, while adding 3 stolen bases. Came through with a game-winning RBI vs. Whitesburg Christian.

Ethan Hendon RHP / Oakman, AL / 2026 Produced offensively and on the mound, going 7-for-17 (.412) with a double and 9 RBI. Also earned a win on the mound, tossing 6 innings with 6 strikeouts and allowing 1 earned run.

Ledger Martin C / 3B / Oakman High School, AL / 2028 Stayed consistent at the plate, going 8-for-16 (.500) with a triple, 2 doubles, and 8 RBI as Oakman swept a key area series.

Charlie Ramsey SS / RHP / Lincoln, AL / 2027 Collected hits at a high rate, going 8-for-13 (.615) with a triple, double, 8 RBI, and 4 runs scored.

Parks Woodruff OF / LHP / Lincoln, AL / 2027 Filled up the stat sheet, going 5-for-8 (.625) with a HR, 3 doubles, and 5 RBI, while scoring 5 runs and posting a .727 OBP. Also struck out 5 over 2 innings on the mound allowing no hits, walks or runs.

William Dutton C / 3B / Moody High School, AL / 2026 Powered the Blue Devil offense, going 6-for-12 (.500) with 2 HR and 7 RBI, while drawing a walk.

Neel Patel 3B / SS / Florence, AL / 2026 The Freed Hardeman recruit showed consistent extra-base production, going 7-for-18 (.389) with 2 HR, a triple, and a double, driving in 4 runs.

Kade Justice SS / Geraldine School, AL / 2027 The uncommitted junior was dominant on the mound, striking out 10 over 5 innings while allowing just 2 hits.

Brayden Shisler LHP / OF / Lincoln High School, AL / 2027 Delivered in a high-leverage outing, tossing a complete-game win over 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts, helping clinch a playoff spot for the first time since 2019.

Jace Duckett LHP / OF / Madison County, AL / 2027 Turned in one of the top pitching performances, going 6.2 innings with 18 strikeouts, allowing 2 earned runs and issuing no walks. The Alabama recruit allowed just 5 hits in an area win over North Jackson.

J.B. Leatherwood SS / RHP / Moody, AL / 2026 The Gadsden State CC recruit earned a complete-game area win, tossing 7 innings with 7 strikeouts, allowing no runs on 4 hits while filling up the zone with 53/77 (69%) for strikes.

Joshua Wilhide RHP / 1B / Bob Jones, AL / 2026 The Northwest Mississippi CC recruit put together a dominant outing, going 8 innings while allowing just 2 hits and no runs, striking out 10 as the Patriots won Game 1 of their area series against Austin 4-1 in 9 innings.

Cole Spanier 3B / RHP / Bob Jones, AL / 2026 Shined on the mound, earning a win against Madison Academt with 5 scoreless innings, allowing just 2 hits while striking out 8 and not allowing a run.

Hudson Olive RHP / 3B / Bob Jones, AL / 2028 Another strong outing on the mound, tossing 4.1 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts and no walks. The sophomore allowed only 2 hits and did not give up a run.

Will Jones OF / RHP / Huntsville, AL / 2026 The Asbury recruit delivered a complete-game shutout in Game 2 of the area series vs. Albertville, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out nine over seven dominant innings.
