Compiled from submissions by high school coaches statewide, this feature highlights standout individual efforts from the previous week and takes a closer look at the players who made the biggest impact on the diamond.

Joshua Wilhide RHP / 1B / Bob Jones, AL / 2026The Northwest Mississippi CC recruit put together a dominant outing, going 8 innings while allowing just 2 hits and no runs, striking out 10 as the Patriots won Game 1 of their area series against Austin 4-1 in 9 innings. |

Will Jones OF / RHP / Huntsville, AL / 2026The Asbury recruit delivered a complete-game shutout in Game 2 of the area series vs. Albertville, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out nine over seven dominant innings. |
