Last Friday, Prep Baseball was in attendance for a matchup between Redmond and Juanita. Both teams featured multiple college commits and uncommitted prospects, and it was a closely-contested game right to the end. Redmond ultimately won the game 5-4, with the Mustang offense coming to life late. Below are scouting notes on impact performers.

Redmond vs. Juanita (4.17.26)

Redmond

'27 INF Leo Ciuca (Uncommitted)
The only Redmond player to record a multi-hit game, Ciuca set the tone at the top of the lineup and filled the statsheet offensively. The lefty works with more upright posture and a narrow base through his swing, creating some lift with tighter levers through the zone. He delivered a clutch 2 RBI single in the 6th inning as his big offensive highlight of the evening, helping propel the Mustang comeback. The junior finished 2-3, 2 R, 2 RBI, BB overall. He also moved with more controlled actions at 2B defensively, with developing arm strength shown.

'27 RHP Raihan Osmanbhoy (Uncommitted)
After Redmond had gone down 4-0 early on, Osmanbhoy came on to pitch and relief and was a game-changer on the mound. The lean-framed sophomore was tremendous across 5.1 innings of work, allowing just 3 hits and 0 runs while striking out 5 batters. The righty worked through a quick-paced delivery from the stretch, with a longer arm path into a 3/4 slot release and a lower gloveside follow. Osmanbhoy filled the zone, walking just a single batter with 84 P/52 S. The junior earned the win on the bump after his team rallied back in front late.

'26 OF/LHP Lance Burt (Columbia Basin Commit)
Burt was a breakout player in 2025 across multiple showcase looks before securing his commitment to CBC last fall. The strong-framed 6'2 lefty had a nice day on Friday, going 1-3 with a walk and an RBI. At the plate, the lefty stays stacked heavily on the rear side before drifting forward in his load, carrying a flatter barrel path to produce hard contact on a line. Burt drove in the tying run in the 6th inning with a hard-hit ball to 2B. He also showed plus closing speed and smooth actions defensively, fit well for CF. Burt will be a key bat for Redmond for the remainder of the spring and is a potential impact two-way player next year.

'26 1B Isaiah McMahan (Everett CC Commit)
The long-levered 1B drove in the first run of the game for Redmond with an RBI knock the other way, finishing 1-4 overall. McMahan looks to have added some strength since a previous look, still maintaining controlled, deliberate movements in all aspects of his game. The righty makes the routine play at 1B as well. McMahan plays with a fiery demeanor at times and brings a veteran presence to the middle of the Mustang order.

Juanita

'28 INF Harrison Carlos (Uncommitted)
One of the real offensive standouts of the night, Carlos carried some of the best offensive upside despite it just being his sophomore year. A stocky-strong multi-sport athlete, Carlos sets in a quiet stance offensively with a short, direct load and path to contact. The bat carries speed through the zone with some lag and a heavier barrel. Carlos finished 2-3 with a HBP and RBI in this one, and will be a bat to monitor moving forward.

'26 RHP Lincoln Cohen (Uncommitted)
The uncommitted senior flashed impressive arm talent at times in this one, with size and tools that could play at the collegiate level. Cohen worked the fastball up to 87 MPH, sitting more 81-85 in the early innings. He also mixed in a SL that he could add and subtract with at 71-76 MPH. The 6'3 arm had some scattered control at times, but found outs when in the zone, allowing just 1 run over 4.2 IP. The mechanical operation was sound with a tighter arm swing and a controlled decel. Arm to circle late for college coaches.

'26 INF Eric Muchinsky (Bellevue College Commit)
A smooth glove with some contact-ability at the plate, Muchinsky turned in a quality look on Friday. The glove looked the part at SS with a quicker transfer, soft hands at field point and active feet moving through release. At the plate, Muchinsky held a hovering leg lift load as the weight shifted forward, catching the ball out front for both of his pull-side hits. The barrel travels through the zone well, and Muchinsky was able to jump on pitches near the middle of the plate early in counts, finishing 2-4 overall.

'26 OF Ronan Scoffield (Washington State Commit)
The D-1 commit saw few pitches to hit in this look, but still managed to display the top-end skillset familiar to scouts to this point. Scoffield reached base three times on three walks, plating a run offensively. He stayed within himself and under control, not expanding despite some borderline pitches. The lefty glove also had the 6.6 speed on display, tracking down multiple balls in the gaps with arm strength. The senior played with a noticable confidence and smoothness in all aspects. Scoffield should be able to stick at any of the three OF spots defensively, with the bat being the key to sticking at the next level.
