The Warriors are off to a hot 6-1 start on the year after a 3-0 week. A team to monitor as the spring progresses, looking like one of the strongest squads in Division 2, as is the performance from senior C Chase Beahm (Rock Valley JC commit). Coming off a 5-8 week with five extra-base hits including two home runs and three doubles, eight RBIs, four runs and two walks. For his efforts Beahm has been named Player of the Week.

Beahm kicked off his week on Tuesday against Cambridge going 2-for-2 with three RBIs, a walk and two runs scored in a 10-0 win. Both hits would go for extra bases, leading off the second inning with a double to center field in a 3-1 count. His second at-bat would come in the same inning, barreling the first pitch for a two-run home run to left field to extend the lead to 8-0.

Thursday against DeForest in a 9-1 victory the catcher would drive in four more runs on two more extra base hits, a first inning three-run home run and a RBI double in the third inning. Beahm would reach on an error by the center fielder in his next trip to the plate before popping out in his final plate appearance.

Lastly on Friday against Watertown, Beahm would finish off his week with a 1-2, two RBIs, one walk, one run, one double and a strikeout against a quality opponent on the mound against him.

A physical right-handed hitter with a ceiling as a defender behind the plate. The impact and ability to repeat at the plate has been seen across multiple looks and the in-game performances make Beahm a follow prospect following his prep career and into his JUCO career at Rock Valley JC.
