NOTABLE RECAPS FROM FRIDAY
#4 Maple Mountain (6) vs. #2 Spanish Fork (5)
The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles edged out Spanish Fork in a classic 6–5 neighborhood battle that lived up to the rivalry's hype. Kye Ward was an absolute force at the top of the lineup, finishing a perfect 4-for-4 and terrorizing the basepaths with three stolen bases to keep the Golden Eagles in constant scoring position. Cayden Giles proved to be the ultimate dual-threat, reaching base four times with a double and two walks before taking the mound in relief to earn the win. Spanish Fork stayed within striking distance thanks to a two-run blast from Nixon Warren and multi-hit efforts from Trigg Cloward and Pratt Morley, but they couldn't find the equalizer against Jeremiah Hall, who slammed the door in the seventh with two strikeouts to secure the save and the emotional Region 7 victory.

#9 Mountain Ridge (5) vs. #6 Riverton (2)
The Mountain Ridge Sentinels utilized a relentless early-inning attack and a gem on the mound from Schafer Dixon to secure a 5–2 victory over the Riverton Silverwolves. Mountain Ridge set the tone in the first two frames, tagging the Riverton starter for five runs behind an offensive masterclass from Ryker Morton and Cooper Goff, who combined for six hits and four RBIs. Morton’s triple and Goff’s two doubles kept the Sentinels in the driver's seat, while Dixon masterfully controlled the Silverwolves' bats, scattering just four hits over 6.2 innings of work to earn the win. Although Caleb Garcia provided five innings of stellar scoreless relief for Riverton to keep the game within reach, the Silverwolves' offense was unable to manufacture a late-inning rally, as the early deficit proved too much to overcome in this Region 2 battle.

#12 Lehi (5) vs. #23 Jordan (3)
The Lehi Pioneers leaned on a massive swing of the bat and steady work on the mound to ground the Jordan Beetdiggers in a 5–3 victory. Jake Welch delivered the game’s definitive blow, a three-run blast that anchored a resilient Lehi offense. While Jordan’s Kade Carter was a workhorse, tossing a complete game and racking up five strikeouts, he was outmatched by a determined Sean McAfee, who earned the win by keeping the Beetdiggers off-balance for nearly six frames. Jordan threatened late behind a multi-hit, two-RBI performance from Isaac Salazar, but Lehi's Taygen Stephensen entered in the final stretch to provide lockdown relief, retiring every batter he faced to secure the win for the Pioneers.

Juan Diego Catholic (11) vs. Park City (6)
Juan Diego Catholic rode a historic offensive performance from Lange Livonius to secure a convincing 11–6 victory over the Park City Miners. Livonius was an absolute force at the plate, finishing with seven RBIs highlighted by a home run and a pair of doubles to pace the Soaring Eagle attack. Jordan Montoya proved to be the ultimate safety net for Juan Diego, turning in a three-hit afternoon while providing nearly four innings of scoreless relief to lock down the win. Park City stayed competitive early behind multi-hit games from Jack Gallagher and Cooper Prichard, but they struggled to contain the JD power bats in the middle frames. Despite the Miners manufacturing six runs and showing resilience at the bottom of the order, Juan Diego’s ability to drive in runs with two outs and Montoya’s steady presence on the mound proved to be the difference in this Region 10 clash.
