NOTABLE RECAPS FROM THURSDAY
Crimson Cliffs (6) vs. Hurricane (1)
The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs relied on a dominant complete-game effort from Quinn Chesnik to overwhelm the Hurricane Tigers in a 6–1 victory. Chesnik was in total control from start to finish, racking up nine strikeouts and allowing just a single run on four hits over seven efficient innings. Offensively, the Mustangs utilized a "track meet" approach, terrorizing the Hurricane defense with a remarkable 15 stolen bases to manufacture runs despite a modest hit total. Cutter Christensen led the way with a multi-hit day that included a triple, while Austin Smith delivered a crucial RBI double. Hurricane’s Parker Selby managed two hits against the stifling Crimson Cliffs defense, but the Tigers were ultimately unable to overcome the constant pressure on the basepaths and Chesnik’s elite command.

#3 Snow Canyon (8) vs. Pine View (4)
The Snow Canyon Warriors used an explosive middle of the order and a steady outing from Trent Chris to secure an 8–4 victory over the Pine View Panthers in a hard-fought Region 9 clash. The Warriors' offensive surge was spearheaded by PJ Hancock, who reached base in every plate appearance and drove in four runs, and Bridger Larsen, who put on a clinic by finishing a home run shy of the cycle with seven total bases. Pine View showed plenty of life at the plate, receiving a two-run home run from Parker Heath and a multi-hit day from Raiden Hunt, but the Panthers struggled to capitalize on their ten hits against the Warriors' staff. Trent Chris navigated five tough innings, striking out seven to earn the win, while PJ Hancock shifted from third base to the mound in the final frame to slam the door and secure the road win.

South Sevier (2) vs. Emery (3)
The Emery Spartans manufactured a gritty 3–2 victory over the South Sevier Rams, relying on aggressive baserunning and a lockdown bullpen to secure the win despite being out-hit. Emery's speed was the difference-maker, as the Spartans swiped six bags—including two each from Trygg Jensen and Peyton Nielson—to put constant pressure on the Rams' defense. While South Sevier’s Jax Christiansen turned in a valiant complete-game effort on the mound and Trayl Parsons led the offense with two hits and an RBI, the Rams were unable to find the tying run late in the contest. Peyton Nielson earned the win with 3.2 innings of work before handing the ball to Ben Johansen, who retired the side with 3.1 innings of scoreless relief to slam the door for the win.
