Now that the 2026 LHSAA high school baseball playoffs have started, we feel that it is a perfect time to highlight some of the top performers from the first round of the playoffs.  After the completion of each playoff round, we will update this story to continue to highlight the top performances.  Be sure to follow us, across all our social media platforms, for non-stop coverage of the 2026 LHSAA high school baseball playoffs!

PLAYOFF PERFORMERS (BI-DISTRICT ROUND)

Greyson Parker RHP / OF / Mandeville, LA / 2027 The former Future Gamer & Ole Miss commit went 4-for-9 (.444) with a home run, double, and 2 runs scored in the Skippers series sweep last weekend against Airline. Parker also picked up the win on the mound in Game 2 after throwing 5 shutout innings with 0 walks and 8 strikeouts.

	Carter Wilson LHP / OF / Sulphur, LA / 2026 The former Senior Future Gamer & McNeese State recruit went 3-for-8 (.375) with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored last weekend. He also led the Tors to the Game 1 win last Friday night with a complete-game effort allowing only 1 earned run on 6 hits with 0 walks and 8 strikeouts.
	Noah Courtney OF / 1B / Sulphur, LA / 2028 Courtney went 2-for-4 (.500) with a home run, triple, 3 runs batted in, and 3 runs scored in the Tors first round series sweep over Northwood.
	Connor Smith RHP / 3B / Northshore, LA / 2026 Smith led the Panthers to the Game 1 win over Natchitoches Central last Thursday night after tossing a complete-game shutout with 7 strikeouts.

Samuel Hartwell DH / Ruston, LA / 2027 Hartwell went 5-for-7 (.714) with a double, 5 runs batted in, and 6 runs scored in the Bearcats first round series sweep over New Iberia Senior High.

	Chase Mire C / RHP / Destrehan, LA / 2026 The uncommitted senior had a big weekend in the Wildcats first round series win over Fontainebleau. Mire went 4-for-11 (.364) at the plate with a home run and 3 runs batted in. He also picked up the Game 2 win in relief after throwing 3 innings and allowing only 1 earned run.
	Tucker Miller RHP / St. Amant, LA / 2027 The uncommitted junior picked up both wins in the Gators first round series upset over Central BR. Miller tossed 1 shutout inning on Friday night to pick up the first win and then started Game 2 on Saturday and tossed 7 shutout innings with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts.

	Cullen Weller UTL / RHP / Live Oak, LA / 2027 Weller went 4-for-11 (.364) with a double, 3 runs batted in, and also drew 5 walks in the Eagles upset first round series win over Prairieville.
	Seth Jorstad LHP / OF / Haughton, LA / 2027 The uncommitted junior went 3-for-8 (.375) with 2 triples, 3 runs batted in, and 2 runs scored in the Bucs first round series sweep over Haughton. He earned the no-decision in Game 1 after throwing 6.1 innings allowing 0 earned runs with 2 walks in 5 strikeouts. His biggest moment came in the 7th inning of Game 2, as he gunned down what would've been the game-tying run at home plate with a beautiful throw from centerfield for the outfield assist to end the game and series for Haughton.
	Ryan Cahanin SS / RHP / Lafayette, LA / 2029 The freshman two-way had a big weekend for the Lions in their first round series win over Ponchatoula. At the plate, he went 4-for-8 (.500) with a triple, 2 runs batted in, and 3 runs scored. Cahanin also got the Game 3 win on the mound after throwing 6.2 shutout innings with 4 strikeouts.
	Brayden Todd 1B / Evangel, LA / 2028 Todd went 4-for-7 (.571) with 2 home runs, a double, 2 runs batted in, and 4 runs scored in the Eagles first round series win over Liberty.
	Dylan Robinson SS / RHP / St. Augustine, LA / 2027 The East Central Community College commit went 6-for-10 (.600) with a double, triple, 1 run batted in, and 1 run scored for the Purple Knights in their first round series win over C.E. Byrd.
	Alexander Landry OF / North Vermilion, LA / 2026 The Gulf Coast State College recruit went 3-for-6 (.500) with 2 doubles, 2 runs batted in, and 3 runs scored in the Patriots first round series win over Grant.
	Mason Rogillio C / West Feliciana, LA / 2027 The former Future Gamer went 5-for-7 (.714) with a triple, 2 runs batted in, and 2 stolen bases in the Saints first round series win over Albany.
	Alex Richardson RHP / SS / Belle Chasse, LA / 2026 The Southern Miss recruit went 3-for-5 (.600) with 2 doubles and 6 runs batted in at the plate last weekend. Richardson also picked up the Game 3 win on the mound after tossing 5 shutout innings with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts to lead the Cardinals to the series win over A.J. Ellender.
	Josh Kantrow RHP / Episcopal BR, LA / 2028 The sophomore right-hander was stellar in the Knights Game 2 win over Jewel Sumner last Friday to move on to the second round of the playoffs. Kantrow threw 6 innings and allowed only 1 earned run on 1 hit with 4 walks and 14 strikeouts.
	Luke McAdams 1B / Northlake Christian, LA / 2026 The East Mississippi Community College recruit went 3-for-7 (.429) with 2 home runs, 3 runs batted in, and 4 runs scored in the Wolverines first round series win over Houma. In Game 1, he hit a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the 8th to seal the 11-10 win.
