+ LIVINGSTON ACADEMY VS MACON COUNTY

Livingston Academy secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Macon County on Monday behind a dominant shutout performance from Westmoreland. In a true pitcher’s duel, Livingston Academy’s staff combined for 12 strikeouts, while Macon County struck out 10 of their own. The game’s only run came in the fourth inning when Goolsby launched a solo home run to left field, providing all the offense the Wildcats would need. Carver was impressive in the loss for Macon County, tossing six innings and allowing just one run on two hits with nine strikeouts. Taylor led Livingston Academy with two hits, while Wheeley and Dean recorded the lone hits for Macon County.

+ CARTER VS PIGEON FORGE

Pigeon Forge picked up a 6-4 win over Carter on Monday, using a four-run fifth inning to reclaim the lead for good. After Carter surged ahead in the top of the fifth, Pigeon Forge answered with RBI singles from Louttit, Monday, and Headrick to make it 6-4. Watson led the Tigers offensively with a 3-for-3 performance, while five different players drove in a run. Cole struck out six over 4.2 innings, and Effler earned the win in relief with Allen recording the save. Bowman and Griph each had two hits for Carter in the loss.

+ DICKSON COUNTY VS NOLENSVILLE

Nolensville walked it off Monday night with a 5-4 win over Dickson County, scoring two runs on an error in the bottom of the seventh to secure the victory. Dickson County struck first on Brown’s solo homer and later took a 4-3 lead in the seventh before Nolensville capitalized late. Barney and Hendrickson each drove in a run, while McElvain drew four walks to spark the offense. Gilbert set the tone early with seven strikeouts over three innings, and the Knights’ bullpen held firm to set up the dramatic finish.

+ MARYVILLE VS KNOXVILLE CENTRAL

Knoxville Central defeated Maryville 8-6 on Monday behind a big performance from Goode, who drove in four runs on two hits. He doubled in the first and added an RBI single in the third to spark the Bobcats’ offense. After falling behind early, Knoxville Central tied the game in the fourth and surged ahead in the fifth capitalizing on two Maryville errors and a sacrifice fly from Grossman. Clemmer earned the win in relief, while Bivens struck out five over four innings. Rivera and Goode each had two hits for the Bobcats, while Cohen, Tallon, and DiBartolomeo drove in runs for Maryville.

+ UPPERMAN VS FRIENDSHIP CHRISTIAN

Friendship Christian earned a 4-3 win over Upperman on Monday, pushing across the go-ahead run in the sixth on Barnes’ RBI double. The Commanders struck early with three runs in the first, highlighted by RBI hits from Barnes and Pulliam, before Upperman rallied to tie it in the sixth. Farrar picked up the win in relief, allowing no earned runs over two innings, and Moore secured the save. Barnes led the offense with two hits and two RBIs, while Taylor set the tone on the mound with eight strikeouts in four scoreless innings. Hedrick and Brown drove in runs for Upperman in the loss.
