Kingsmen Academy Scout Day: Full Workout & Data Breakdown at Gardner-Webb
On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Prep Baseball was on campus at Gardner-Webb University for a Scout Day with Kingsmen Academy. The event featured a full pro-style workout, giving players the opportunity to showcase their tools in a complete, data-driven evaluation setting.
Position players worked through a defensive workout before taking batting practice with TrackMan capturing ball flight data throughout each round. Pitchers threw controlled bullpen sessions with TrackMan tracking pitch metrics, movement profiles, and overall performance data. Every swing and every pitch was measured, allowing our staff to pair in-person evaluation with verified analytics.
Athletic testing was also a key component of the day. Players ran a laser-timed 60-yard dash, including 10-yard and 30-yard splits, powered by VALD Athletics’ laser timing system to ensure precise results. Between speed metrics, offensive data, pitch analytics, and defensive evaluations, athletes left the day with a comprehensive statistical profile to complement their video and scouting notes.
In the coming weeks, we will roll out a series of leaderboards and statistical breakdowns from the Kingsmen Academy Scout Day, highlighting top performers across various categories — from exit velocity and power production to pitch metrics, speed, and more. Each post will spotlight the measurable standouts and provide context behind the numbers.
