2026 OUTLOOK

+ Rossview enters the 2026 season coming off a standout 35–10–1 campaign that firmly established the Hawks as one of the more consistent programs in District 13AAAA. Under head coach Parker Holman, Rossview brings back a strong core of varsity contributors who logged meaningful innings and at-bats a year ago, setting the stage for another competitive spring built around physical bats, reliable arms, and quality depth.

Offensively, the Hawks return multiple middle-of-the-order options who provide size and run production. Becket Haselhuhn (2027) is a key returning piece and a true two-way presence. At the plate, Haselhuhn brings physicality and power potential from the left side, capable of impacting the game at first base or in the outfield. His offensive profile gives Rossview a reliable run producer and a presence opposing pitchers must game plan around.

Behind the plate, Matthew Simpson (2026) anchors the lineup and the defense. Simpson’s ability to handle a pitching staff, control the run game, and provide steady offensive production makes him one of the more valuable pieces on the roster. His experience in high-leverage situations adds stability to a Hawks lineup that expects to continue scoring consistently.

Jackson Perry (2026) adds another experienced bat with positional flexibility, giving Rossview options at both first base and in the outfield. Perry’s ability to produce competitive at-bats and provide defensive reliability allows the coaching staff to move pieces around while keeping offensive continuity in the lineup.

On the mound, Rossview returns proven arms capable of handling important innings. Haselhuhn also factors heavily into the pitching staff as a left-handed option who brings competitiveness and matchup value. Jayden Gaylor provides another experienced right-handed arm, giving the Hawks balance and depth at the top of the staff. That duo sets the tone for a pitching group that should again be a strength.

Additional depth comes from a strong group of 2026s pushing for expanded roles. Trenton Evick and Max Rogers give Rossview multiple right-handed pitching options who can contribute in rotation or bullpen roles, while Gabriel Michelena brings middle-infield experience and athleticism that could translate into increased playing time this spring.

Looking ahead, the next wave of talent is already making its presence felt. P.J. Parreco (2027) adds athleticism to the outfield mix, while underclassmen Ethan Pickett (2028) and Tanner Herbek (2028) provide intriguing upside. Pickett’s two-way ability at third base and on the mound gives Rossview another developmental arm, while Herbek’s versatility allows him to impact the game in multiple roles as he continues to mature.

With a physical lineup, returning pitching depth, and a steady pipeline of underclass talent, Rossview enters the 2026 season positioned to build on last year’s success. If the Hawks continue to get consistent production from their experienced bats and solidify roles on the mound, they have the makeup of a club capable of another deep run in District 13AAAA and beyond.
