Grey Sanders put together an outstanding year on the mound, and we saw plenty of him as he earned Prep Baseball Kansas City Summer Player of the Year honors. Sanders was a standout at the 2025 Senior Future Games, which ultimately helped lead to his commitment to the University of Kansas in August following the event.
He started the year strong, running his fastball up to 93 mph at the 2025 MOKAN Preseason ID in February, then took another jump by August topping at 95.4 mph at LakePoint on the biggest stage.
Sanders is a strong, physical 6-foot, 200-pound right-hander who generates a ton of power from his legs. His sturdy lower half helps drive him down the mound, take stress off the arm, and consistently repeat his delivery. His command of all three pitches really stood out in his KC outings, as he was able to consistently get outs against some tough lineups.
