| 11 | Lone Peak | 6A | 12-16 |
Click to view MORELone Peak enters the season with one of the largest groups of committed players that will go on to play in college. 6 Seniors have committed to this point, all of them at key positions and most notably where it’s going to matter most in Region 3, on the mound. Seniors Grady Slesk (SLCC) and Landon Fry (SLCC) will lead the staff with ample varsity, and big game experience. Both will feature upper 80s FB with nasty pitch mixes and competitive approaches. Senior Tatum Larsen (CNCC) will be a key reliever along with one of the more athletic 2027s in the state and two-way talent, Boston Walkenhorst. The offense will present problems for opposing pitchers all year, with returners like Bo Barnes (CSI) who can change the game at any time with one swing, and Seniors Braden Packer (San Joaquin Delta) & Dallin Scharmann (CSI) presenting tough outs and stellar defense up the middle/behind the plate. The underclassmen newcomers will play key roles for this group, headlined by the #3 ranked 2029 and freak athlete, Kingston Stroshine. This team has the talent to make a deep playoff run and will be one to keep your eyes on throughout the year.

| 12 | Dixie | 4A | 19-11 |
Click to view MORERegion 9 continues to prove to be one of the top regions in the state, regardless of Class. Teams like Dixie play a major factor in that title, year in and year out. Coach Nyberg has settled into his 2nd year at the helm of the Flyer program, and brings back a loaded squad full of talent all over the field, including the reigning Region 9 MVP in Junior Carson Hunt. The two-way threat went 45 innings on the mound, with 16 doubles and over 40 RBI at the plate. Offensively, this group is going to put up runs on a consistent basis. Junior CF Weston Gilmore has taken major strides this year, and solidified himself as one of the top 2027s in the class, and along with Crew Pryor the OF is going to be locked down. Super Sophomore Games Alum Hudson Wright returns, coming off an impressive Freshman campaign from the plate and up the middle at SS. With Jordan Andreas returning on the mound as well, she will bring back considerable innings from a season ago and has improved in the offseason while playing with Team USA. Dixie is going to present problems for whoever they play and will be in contention all year long until the final weekend.

| 13 | Riverton | 6A | 20-11 |
Click to view MORERiverton comes into this year with high expectations under Coach Kraja, who has settled into his 2nd year as the head man of a high-end program. Last year saw a lot of turnover with the new staff coming in, and featured a considerable number of underclassmen playing significant time. That experience should bode them well in a loaded 6A class & region again this season. The Senior left-hander & SLCC commit, Rocky Downs, will lead a strong staff of quality arms that features a mix of strong right and left-handers, including Nolan Pezely (North Central Texas), Gaven Neill and one of the top 2028s in the state, Boston Hatch. Offensively, the potential to consistently drive in runs is there, with Seniors McKade Ortiz, Bryce Mounteer (CSI) and Cohen Allred (CSI) being the catalysts from the top and middle of the lineup. Their versatility on defense while having a number of key players who can move around the field should serve them well in the long run, with tough region matchups every week. Keep your eyes on this talented Riverton squad to make a move up the charts as the season progresses.

| 14 | Skyridge | 6A | 15-12 |
Click to view MORESkyridge remains one of the premier programs in the 6A class, consistently developing high-end talent and quality teams that compete year in and year out. This year’s squad will be led by a pair of Division I Commits, Seniors Ripken Roberts SS (Nicholls State) and Miles Robinson CF (Cal State Northridge). Both are featured in the top 11 for the class, and provide some of the best offensive production that you are going to find while also locking down the middle of the field defensively. Ripken also represents a significant number of innings pitched returning to the mound, along with Senior right-hander Murphy Dunn, who combined total over 50 innings across 23 appearances for the Falcons. Behind the plate Boston Sundberg returns with Senior leadership and another quality LH bat, with Varsity newcomers added to the group that include a mix of arms and bats, most notably with Seniors 3B Brady Lowe, LHP Tate Young and OF Grayson Bauer. Coach Roberts always seems to get the most out of his teams, and we expect a similar trajectory this Spring.

| 15 | Alta | 5A | 19-8 |
Click to view MOREAlta is coming off one of the better seasons in the last few years, climbing to the #4 seed before ultimately falling to the eventual state champions in the Super Regionals. This year’s squad returns a lot of the overall production from last year’s team, headlined by one of the top hitters in the state, #5 ranked player in the 2026 class & Army West Point commit, McCoy Johnson. His 13 HR were only outpaced by Chrisman of Maple Mtn (19), and his game seems to have taken another step forward heading into 2026. A pair of left-handers lead the way from the mound with Ian Alvey (USUE commit) and John Warren, who combined for 77 innings a season ago and look primed again for strong campaigns as Seniors. A handful of young newcomers and transfers at key positions will add to the positive outlook for this talented roster of returning players. Sophomore Catcher Abel Velador is coming off a .366 AVG his Freshman year and looks ready to take the next step to add to the explosive offense. Look out for the Hawks as the season progresses in the 5A classification.

| 16 | Timpanogos | 4A | 22-9 |
Click to view MOREAnyone who has been around the game of baseball in Utah long enough knows, that Coach Kim Nelson is absolutely going to have a quality, competitive team every single year. You can book it. This year will be no different, with the move down to 4A in recent years the success and program culture has not changed, as they continue to be one of the most disciplined, well coached teams in the state. Senior and USUE Commit Cooper Hawkes has put together a strong offseason and really taken his game to the next level, providing high end offensive production and strong defense up the middle at SS. Senior Catcher Jace Hunter has been a consistent contributor as well, displaying an ability to handle a pitching staff and remaining productive offensively. With a talented group of underclassmen who will see major innings this year, headlined by Sophomore slugger Max Martin, count on Timpanogos to be in play for the final weekend of May once again in 2026.

|||
| 17 | Herriman | 6A | 15-15 |
Click to view MOREHerriman enters the year with another talented group full of quality experience and a strong number of young newcomers. Last year’s team showed real signs of future potential dominance, as most of the key contributors were underclassmen. Coach Dave Carter’s collegiate coaching background continues to shine, as the Mustangs pitching staff looks poised to keep them in any series throughout the year. SLCC Commit and Senior Cash Carter led the team in innings pitched and ERA a season ago, and Junior Mason Greeno and Senior Talen Mietchen also come back with added velocity and maturity. Offensively the potential to rack up runs in any given game is there, headlined by Senior Boston Jacobson and exciting young Super Sophomore Games Alum, Easton Webb. With athletes all over the field and an overall sound foundation, look for Herriman to be a dangerous team all year long.

| 18 | Ridgeline | 4A | 25-6 |
Click to view MORERidgeline has become a staple program in the 4A Class, competing into the Final 8 seemingly every year and producing quality talent. Offensively, this group is going to present problems. With Senior outfield returners Cooper Clark and Nate Dahle, who are also both committed to play football at Weber State, they represent nearly 70 hits and 50 RBI that comes back to the lineup and may improve on their power numbers with added physicality in the offseason. The OF returns as well as their middle infield, with Maddux and Ripken Jensen along with Brady Cook who can all play both spots, depending on who takes the bump that day. Losing Tyson Smith behind the plate is a big loss, but Senior Luke Banning has bided his time and looks ready to be an integral part of the group in 2026. With so much talent and experience returning this spring, look for the Riverhawks to be in play until the last weekend in May once again.

| 19 | Olympus | 5A | 20-9 |
Click to view MOREOlympus remains one of the more consistent programs in the 5A Class, putting together strong regular seasons year after year and sending players to the college ranks. This year looks to be no different, as they return 12 Seniors and a core of key returners, led by Senior & Futures Games Alum, Cayman Sanchez and Jaxon Vandenakker. Those two up the middle provide very sound defense and athleticism up the middle, and with Junior Soren Swing taking a massive offseason jump, the infield should be lock down. Offensively, this lineup will present problems from top to bottom with speed and high contact bats throughout. CSI Commit Torben Van Boerum looks poised to be an arm that will keep them in any game he throws, along with a strong staff and quality mix of left and right-handed arms. Keep your eye on this team as the year moves on as the newcoming talent gets their feet underneath them.

|||
| 20 | Jordan | 6A | 17-12 |
Click to view MOREJordan enters the year in the top 20, largely in part to the number of veteran, returning players all over the field in key positions. They will have 9+ Seniors that contribute, including more than 8 starters and most of their pitching staff. Seniors Kade Carter, Gage Nalder and Jayden Montoya, along with Sophomore battery CJ Sumner all return this year, who combined tallied nearly 400 AB and 100 RBI, representing a considerable chunk of their offensive production from a year ago. With notable strength and improvement additions over the course of the offseason from Juniors Dallon Molder and Joey Peak, and Senior Beckham Livingston, keep your eye on this Jordan squad as they will be a tough team to beat consistently with so many quality contributors and strong coaching staff. |
|||
| 21 | Pine View | 4A | 14-14-1 |
Click to view MOREPine View is a part of one of the toughest regions in the state regardless of Classification in Region 9, and this year returns a strong core of pitchers and position players. Futures Games Alum Porter Campbell headlines that group and will lock down the middle of the lineup and CF once again this year. Pitching should be one of the strengths of the team with Tristan Sylvester and Hela Manutai leading the way. Senior Catcher Cash Sisneros looks poised to get the offense started at the top of the lineup, with a string of experienced hitters to follow. This group has a strong foundation and could be one to make a jump up the rankings if everything comes together.
|
|||
| 22 | Provo | 4A | 18-10 |
Click to view MOREProvo enters the year with a duo of high quality Senior arms in Gehrig Orchard and Willilam Gulbrandsen that will keep them in any games they start. Although some of the core players returning from last year are young, that varsity experience combined with strong offseason performances will serve them well heading into Spring. Sophomores Dawson Moore and Taven Lancaster, Super Sophomore Games Alum, will be key contributors up the middle and behind the plate, providing athleticism and production throughout the season. With a strong group of returners and an exciting young core, the future is bright for Provo and they could make some noise late into May.

Click to view MORECanyon View is coming off one of the best seasons in school history, hoisting the 3A trophy after knocking on the door the past few seasons. Coach Jacobsen continues to compete year in and year out, developing talent and sending players to the college level. Senior 3-year starter Zach Maine and Senior Cannon Williams, are key returners from last year's state championship team who welcome a strong group of newcomers, headlined by one of the top Freshman in the Class, Preston Higgins. The 3A landscape is wide open heading into Spring and until further notice, Canyon View is the favorite with the rest of 3A putting them square in their crosshairs.
|
|||
| 25 | Davis | 6A | 24-8 |
Click to view MOREDavis returns a strong group of core players led by Senior CSI Commit and Futures Games Alumni, Kaleb Weaver. Last year’s squad ended the year as one of the top teams in the 6A Class, posting a 24-8 record and a Final 4 finish at state playoffs. That experience and success are primary reasons for appearing in the initial Power 25, despite losing a number of key collegiate level players. The OF and offense will be the strength of the team, with Tyson Bagget game changing speed and Weaver moving to the OF, look for Davis to be an explosive offense in any given matchup. With newcomer Mitch Ossmen finally getting healthy, his production will add to the strength of the team and Davis has the culture to be a team poised to move up the rankings.
