Prep Baseball Colorado Staff

The Colorado high school baseball season kicks off on March 5th, opening day for regular season action under CHSAA regulations. Leading up to opening day, we’ll be publishing our team previews ahead of the 2026 spring season, touching on programs spanning all state classifications, counting down through the official Prep Baseball Colorado Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

Perennially, we’ve submitted a preseason questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. Their responses have been flooding in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

2026 SEASON OUTLOOK:

Holy Family enters the 2026 season with a familiar formula that has kept the Tigers in the conversation year after year in 4A: a strong returning core, emerging youth, and upside that could grow as the spring progresses. This is a program that rarely flies under the radar, and the pieces are again in place for another competitive season.

The foundation starts with a group of experienced returners and proven leaders, including Brady Anderson behind the plate, Eddie Hill at first base, Britain Fox in the outfield, and Isaiah Sandoval at shortstop. That quartet provides stability up the middle and in the heart of the lineup, giving Holy Family a dependable core to lean on early.

Supporting that group is a wave of younger talent ready to build on the progress made in 2025. Kaden Hopkin brings versatility all over the diamond, while Nick Leopardi and Max Jones add athleticism and depth across the lineup. Their development will be key as roles continue to solidify.

The biggest variable for the Tigers may come on the mound, where the pitching staff only returns two arms with significant innings at the varsity level. Juniors Austin Mireiter and Nolan Brunner are expected to anchor the staff, while the remainder of the innings will likely be handled by sophomores stepping into varsity roles for the first time.

If that group can grow quickly and gain confidence as the season unfolds, Holy Family once again has the profile of a team capable of making noise in 4A. With experience at key positions and upside throughout the roster, the Tigers remain a program to keep an eye on this spring.
