QUICK HITS: PITCHERS
|
Drew Davis SS / RHP / Sumrall, MS / 2027Drew Davis, a 2027 prospect from Sumrall High School and an Alabama commit, features a strong 6-0, 190-pound frame and the presence of a true competitor on the mound. He shows quick arm action and has run his fastball up to 93 mph, but it’s his breaking ball that truly separates him. Widely regarded as one of the best in the state, the pitch features exceptional depth and spin rates north of 2800 RPM, making it extremely difficult for hitters from both sides of the plate to handle. With his stuff, mound presence, and desire to take the ball in big moments, Davis is a high-level arm with the makeup to match his talent and could very well lead his Bobcats back to Trustmark Park for another shot at a state title. |
