Assistant Director, Canada

On Saturday, February 7th, the Prep Baseball Ontario staff hosted it's first showcase of the 2026 season with the 6th annual Canadian College & University Showcase, hosted at the Midwestern Ontario Bearcats facility in Cambridge, Ontario.

This event featured roughly 90+ prospects in the 2026 - 2027 classes and allowed players the chance to showcase their skills in front of 15 Ontario colleges/universities, as well as Prairie Baseball Academy in Alberta, with roughly 25 total coaches in attendance.

All player ran through a full workout that included batting practice and bullpens captured on our TrackMan, as well as a 60-yard and splits captured by VALD Performance and positional metrics.. Over the next several days we'll be highlighting top performers from the event within our post-event analysis. Stay locked into our social media channels over the next several days as we continue to push out video, leaderboards and more.

Earlier this week, we began our post-event coverage within our Statistical Analysis and Pitching Data Dive articles. Today, we will continue our post-event coverage within this Hitting Data Dive article as we bring you the top Trackman Hitting data collected during batting practice on Wednesday.
