Overall Summary

Kennedy Catholic should once again be a contending 4A side, returning the vast majority of their lineup and a wealth of pitching from last spring. The pitching staff is led by LHP Harvey Lieberman, a WSU commit, who was dominant last season with a 1.75 ERA and 76 strikeouts over 64 IP. The depth of the pitching staff is strong with senior and Bellevue College commit Dante Saladino (44k in 44IP), as well as seniors Atticus Blum (24K in 16.2 IP), and Elliott Kelley-Petersen, followed by sophomore Brayden Seiber and junior Stone Saladino who both had varsity innings on the mound last season. Offensively, the Lancers lineup is extremely deep as well. League MVP Dante Saladino hit over .370 to lead the offense, while senior catcher and UNLV commit Ka'ipo Matsushima hit .338 and showed massive improvements to his overall game. Senior shortstop and LC State commit Liam Rhoads provides a steady glove up the middle and consistency offensively. Senior Elliot Kelley Petersen and sophomore Brayden Seiber each hit over .300 in starting roles as well, giving the Lancers lots of big game experience to move forward with. Head coach Jordan Seiber has loaded KC's schedule start to finish, including games against Eastlake, West Seattle, Tahoma and Puyallup. Look for the Lancers to lean on their experience and have a strong 2026.
