Overall Summary

Jesuit enters the 2026 season as one of the more intriguing 6A sides after advancing to the state semi's last spring. The Crusaders are anchored in their rotation by junior LHP and Washington commit Chase Kelly. The lefty impressed at Prep Baseball's Future Games last summer in Georgia and saw success last high school season as well, hurling over 50 innings to a 2.32 ERA. The rotation outside of Kelly has limited varsity experience, but sophomore arm Ethan Peng could be a breakout candidate after a great showing at PNW Preseason All-State this February. The lineup features a talented core. Near the top of the order, senior INF and Gonzaga commit Jacob Rolling is another Future Games alum. The twitchy defender hit over .300 last season and can play a sound shortstop defensively. Outfielder Kyle Goodwin is a top-ten ranked player in Oregon's junior class and is the leading returning hitter, hitting .342 last season. Senior backstop and Feather River commit Ryder Listy is another key bat returning, while senior Pimona-Pitzer commit Griffin Nichols and junior Julian Vina could see a bigger role in the lineup as well. Jesuit has a loaded 2026 schedule, including matchups with Central Catholic, Tualatin, Sunset and Grant. Expect the Crusaders to once again be amongst the best teams in Oregon this year.
