Notable Recaps from Monday

Brophy College Prep (8) vs. Kofa (2)
Brophy handled Kofa 8-2, striking early and never letting up with a four run second that created separation. Sinacori set the tone from the leadoff spot, going 3 for 3 with two RBIs, while Ethier drove in two and swiped three bags as the Broncos totaled 11 hits and five stolen bases. Openden earned the win with six steady innings, allowing two runs without issuing a walk, and Brophy turned two double plays behind him.

Williams Field (24) vs. Dobson (3)
Williams Field erupted for 24 runs on 19 hits in a dominant win over Dobson, breaking it open with six in the second and eight more in the third. Utash powered the offense with a homer and four RBIs, while Landry added a home run and two hits as part of a relentless attack. The Black Hawks used multiple arms to control the game on the mound and applied constant pressure with six stolen bases.

Hamilton (12) vs. Mountain Ridge (7)
Hamilton outlasted Mountain Ridge 12-7, pulling away with a seven run fifth highlighted by a three run homer from Wuttke. Burghardt also went deep and finished with two hits, while Wells tripled and drove in a pair as the Huskies capitalized on timely swings. Bell picked up the win, and Hamilton made its push in the middle innings to counter a 10 hit effort from Mountain Ridge.

Perry (5) vs. Sunnyslope (1)
Perry topped Sunnyslope 5-1 behind a big night from Sisco, who went 3 for 3 with a home run, triple, and two RBIs. Cram added a two run homer late to provide breathing room as the Pumas collected 10 hits overall. Dannenfeldt earned the win in relief, and Perry turned two double plays while limiting Sunnyslope to just two runs across seven innings.

Chaparral (10) vs. Saguaro (0)
Chaparral rolled to a 10-0 shutout of Saguaro, scoring six runs across the first two innings to seize control early. Shuba led the charge from the heart of the lineup, going 3 for 4 with four RBIs, while Ede homered and Chavez doubled in two as the Firebirds drew 10 walks as a team. Long was sharp on the mound, striking out eight over five scoreless innings to secure the run rule victory.
