McHenry Rising Stars ID: Quick Hits & Statistical Analysis

On February 14th, the Prep Baseball Illinois staff hosted the McHenry Rising Stars ID at Pro Player Academy in McHenry, IL. Nearly 50 players participated in a pro-style workout, gathering unrivaled access to data through our state-of-the-art tech partners, as well as in-depth scouting analysis from our Prep Baseball Illinois staff.

Today, we will be looking at the top measurable data performers from the event, found below.

QUICK HITS

C/INF Cohen Bruers (Grayslake Central), INF Dylan Santucci (Prairie Ridge) and C Caleb Haase (Hampshire) are a handful of names to follow from the event.

Bruers showed a loose and uphill swing witih length through the zone and a mature feel to use the whole field - also looking like a sure-handed defender both behind the plate and on the infield.

Santucci is another that impressed on the indield, also looking to have upside at the palte with a hitterish feel and line-drive approach, using the whole field.

Haase is a right-hander hitter to keep tabs on moving forward, boasting a loose and flat path with length through the zone, showing a natural ability to go the other way.
