Excel Baseball Scout Day: Statistical Leaderboards

JACKSONVILLE, AL - The summer showcase season officially got underway on Sunday, May 17th, as Prep Baseball Alabama traveled to Jacksonville State University for the Excel Baseball Scout Day featuring prospects from the 2027-2030 classes. Players in attendance participated in a full pro-style workout in front of the Prep Baseball Alabama staff with comprehensive data collected throughout the day.
The event featured laser-timed 60-yard dashes using VALD Performance gates, batting practice evaluations with TrackMan technology, and defensive workouts at each position with arm strength metrics recorded. With a strong group of underclass talent in attendance, the event offered an early summer look at many of the state’s top emerging prospects as players showcased their athleticism, strength, and overall skill sets in a highly competitive setting.
