Welcome to the MSHSAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Missouri staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Blue Springs showed early life at the plate as Conor McElligot sparked the lineup with a solo home run in the first inning.

Wyatt Denney led the offense with two hits while starting pitcher Wyatt Taylor provided a strong presence on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings. Lee's Summit North nearly completed a late comeback behind Tre Paulding, who went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a game-tying home run in the final frame.

The pitching staff combined for a strong relief effort, with Ryan Turlington, Nolan Bartels, and Nolan Adkisson each throwing scoreless innings to preserve the lead. Kennett remained competitive behind Zayne Franklin, who sparked a second-inning rally with a triple and finished the game with two hits.
