Welcome to the MSHSAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Missouri staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Liberty cruised to an 8-2 victory over Life Prep, capitalizing on early opportunities and a dominant six-inning start from Aidan Nicholson, who surrendered only one hit. The offense was sparked by Kam Gillespie’s triple and multi-hit performances from Aiden Clarke and Grady Coppinger, while Jonathan Pearcy and Owen Shelton each drove in two runs. Life Prep found late offensive life with RBIs from Roderick Gutierrez and Johan Villaman, but could not overcome Liberty.

Glendale saw a multi-hit performance from Brady Yates, while Walker Ransdell and Reed Jackson each contributed an RBI in the effort.

Despite the loss, Helias received an RBI single and a solid five-inning start from Brayden Means.

Moberly defeated Marshall 10-5 on Thursday, led by Kyler Fanning’s 3-for-4 performance and a five-run outburst in the fourth inning. Kaden Abel earned the win, pitching six innings and allowing just two earned runs, while the Spartans' aggressive baserunning resulted in eight stolen bases. Despite the loss, Marshall was paced by Brock Marshall, who drove in two runs, and leadoff hitter Chase Thompson, who finished with two hits.
