Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Oregon Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.

Additionally, we will continue our Oregon Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.

This week's Pitcher of the Week is '27 RHP Charley Chipps (La Salle Catholic).

Chipps allowed 0 runs, 0 hits and 0 walks, striking out 12 in his impressive outing. The junior builds on a fantastic showing at PNW Preseason All-State, the preseason's top invite-only event, this winter.
