In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Bennett Collins spearheaded a powerhouse offensive display with five RBIs, including a three-run home run, as Blue Springs South overwhelmed Lee's Summit North 18-2. The Jaguars' 15-hit barrage was supported by home runs from Griffin Robertson and Grayden Seuferling, while Wyatt Taylor dominated on the mound with nine strikeouts over five innings.

Kaiden Postoak and Grady Coppinger teamed up for a dominant two-hit shutout, striking out 11 batters to lead Liberty to a 2-0 victory over Oak Park. Logan Sutton provided the game's only scoring with a crucial two-run sacrifice fly in the fourth inning to support the elite pitching performance. Oak Park remained competitive behind a strong start from Michael Arencibia.

Brayden Davidson was nearly untouchable on the mound, striking out 10 batters and allowing zero hits over five innings to anchor Liberty North's 9-2 win over Blue Springs. The offense broke the game open with a six-run sixth inning, highlighted by a two-run double from Theo Fisher and multi-hit efforts from Ben Highley and Troy Fisher. Blue Springs fought to stay in the contest with RBIs from Sam Koffenberger and Conor McElligott, while their lineup combined to draw seven walks on the day.

Ayden Boyer and Malachi Coleman combined for 11 strikeouts and zero runs over six innings to guide Staley to a 4-1 victory over Raymore-Peculiar. Landon Schreifels paced the offense with two hits and an RBI double before coming on to secure the save. Raymore-Peculiar’s Jaden Micenhamer led his team with two hits and multiple stolen bases, while Clint Olson provided their lone RBI in the losing effort.

Evan McDaniel dominated both on the mound and at the plate, striking out seven batters over six innings and driving in three runs to lead Kearney to a 4-1 victory over Excelsior Springs. McDaniel’s two-run triple in the first inning set an early tone for the offense, which was supported by a multi-hit performance from Hayden Fritter. Excelsior Springs stayed competitive behind a complete-game effort from Henry Crowley, who struck out nine, and an RBI single from Brodie Querry.
