2026 Prep Baseball Minnesota Hitter of the Week: Week 3

Andy Judkins
State Director, Prep Baseball Minnesota

Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like
Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

Cherry’s Noah Asuma put together one of the most productive weeks in the state, filling up the stat sheet with impact and speed. The University of Minnesota signee went 7-for-12 with four doubles and a home run, driving in six while scoring seven times and swiping five bags. It’s been more of the same all spring, as Asuma is now hitting an eye-popping .717 on the year, pairing advanced barrel control with game-changing athleticism.
