2026 OSSAA Power 25: Week Nine
April 27, 2026
We update the Power 25 as the regular season winds down. This update features a few small changes due to results as teams gear up for the postseason. All scores and records are from the OSSAA Rankings page or Gamechanger.
With the latest update, we have changes throughout the Power 25, but more specifically in the Top 5. At the top, Tuttle regains our #1 spot as they continue to get healthy but continue to display one of the deepest lineups in the state. They have top end talent as well as versatility with guys that understand their role and how to best help the team. They have shown the ability to execute at a high level consistently. On the mound, they welcomed back ace Hunter Watson a week ago and while their depth on the mound has been tested throughout the season, it has only helped them prepare for the postseason. At #2, Mustang continues their rise with a record of 29-5 on the season. They have consistently played winning baseball with steady defense and a deep lineup. Further, they have consistently made adjustments throughout games which is a trait that you find from teams that win in May. Checking in at #3, Yukon rises on the back of a 4-0 week that improved their record to 26-6 on the season. As you'd anticipate with that type of W/L, the Millers have had numerous players step up and continue to develop throughout the season. The staff continues to show depth with difference makers in the bullpen that can cover multiple innings if needed. Offensively, they have shown the ability to score runs in bunches with tough matchups with RHH and LHH at the top of the order. Checking in at #4 is Stillwater, with one of the more potent offenses in the state. The underclassmen continue to develop and the lineup as a whole can pressure opposing defenses in a variety of ways. At 21-5, and 11-1 in 6A-3, the Pioneers open up a massive series against Broken Arrow tonight. Rounding out our Top 5 is Jenks. The Trojans have been one of the most consistent teams in the state with steady defense, the ability to execute offensively at a high level, and improved their record to 25-5 on the year after a 5-0 week. The lineup is dynamic with the ability to pressure opposing defenses and the ability to score in a variety of ways will be dangerous in May.
Amongst our biggest risers, Moore went 4-0 in the prior week and 21-10 on the season. The Lions have locked up the opportunity to host as they sit 12-0 in District 6A-2 and have consistently shown the ability to win close games in the late innings. Offensively, they could be one of the more dynamic offenses in the state with both the team speed and thump in the middle. They will be a tough team to face in May as the roster continues to get healthy when it matters most.
Breaking into the Power 25 is Dale. At 20-4, they are coming off a 5-0 week with impressive wins over Preston, Dewar, and Cashion. They are an athletic lineup that can pressure teams in a variety of ways. Since April 4, Dale has won 13 of 14 and continues to play consistent baseball on both sides of the ball. Over the last week, they outscored opponents by a combined score of 40-8 further emphasizing the high level of play. With the experience gained in the fall, the Pirates appear ready to make plenty of noise in the postseason.
A last note, as many teams are gearing up for the postseason, both the OKC Broncos and NOAH Jaguars will open up play at the Homeschool World Series at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale, FL today. We wish both teams the best of luck and are excited to follow both teams as they represent the Sooner State this week!
