Desert Oasis 11, Liberty 4
Desert Oasis utilized an explosive early-inning barrage to overpower Liberty 11-4 on Wednesday. The Diamondbacks established dominance immediately, tallying seven runs over the first two frames to secure a comfortable home victory.

The story of the game was senior Crue Smith, who delivered a steady performance on the hill. Smith currently ranks among the top 15 in Nevada for ERA and navigated 5.1 innings today, surrendering only one earned run to earn the win. Senior Lincoln Guillermo, a College of Southern Nevada commit, contributed a hit and an RBI.

Junior Ryan Roshak provided the power with a solo home run, while Brody Griffith and Jayson Marquez each contributed RBI doubles. Liberty was anchored by a standout day from junior Nevan Chandler, who finished 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Green Valley 6, Coronado 3
Green Valley utilized an explosive first inning and disciplined situational play to secure a 6-3 home victory over Coronado on Wednesday. The Gators jumped out to an immediate five-run lead, proving to be the difference in a game where both teams tallied eight hits.

The story of the game was junior Isaiah Alba, an athletic UC Santa Barbara commit. Alba ignited the Gator attack with a solo home run and a double, currently ranking in the top 25 in Nevada for runs scored. Joseph Lusch continued his hot streak, reaching base three times with two hits and an RBI, while senior Jet McNelis, a CSN commit, added a double and a run scored.

Senior Gavin Christensen, a recent Prep Baseball "Pitcher of the Week" honoree, contributed an RBI single and has been a workhorse for the Gators this spring. Sophomore Davin Brady earned the win on the hill, navigating nearly five innings. Coronado was led by junior Matthew Smoot, who single-handedly kept the Cougars in the game with two home runs and three RBIs.

Palo Verde 7, Durango 5
Palo Verde utilized a late-inning surge and a standout performance from its junior class to secure a 7-5 home victory over Durango on Monday. Despite an early lead for the Trailblazers, the Panthers’ explosive attack in the bottom of the sixth proved to be the difference.

The story of the game was junior Karsen Smaka, who turned in a clinical 3-for-4 performance. Smaka fell just a home run short of the cycle, tallying a double and a triple while scoring three runs and swiping two bases. Senior Kyle Johnson provided the decisive blow with a solo home run, while Luke Jefferies added two hits and two RBIs. On the mound, freshman Payton Conley-Cimini earned the win, grinding through six innings and striking out six.

Durango was led by freshman Josiah Lavea-Aldridge, a high-ceiling 2029 prospect who collected two hits and scored a run. Junior Luke Desoto added power with a solo home run, and sophomore Jackson Trantham contributed two hits in the loss.
