Today we are releasing our fifth update to the Virginia/DC Private School Top 10. Take a look at some notes on a few teams from inside the rankings.

• Paul VI comes in at the top spot in the Private School Top 10. The Panthers kicked off their week with a win over Bishop O'Connell. They continued to handle business the rest of the week with convincing wins over Our Lady of Good Counsel and Bishop McNamara. While the pitching staff continues to throw well, the offense did their job scoring 30 total runs last week. While this will be dated by its Wednesday release, Paul VI has a quality matchup on Tuesday against a scrappy Gonzaga team.

• Miller had a gauntlet of a four game week and they went 4-0. They kicked off the week with a close win with their cross-town rival St. Anne's Belfield and good home win against Battlefield. The finished off the week in the 757 with quality wins over Cape Henry and Greenbrier Christian. The momentum is starting to pick up for the Mavericks and at the right time with another four game week coming up. 

• Norfolk Academy makes their way into the top 10. They went 2-0 on the week and the offense continues to be a strong point. They have scored 104 runs in sixteen games this spring. They can put up crooked numbers and create some distance from teams. They have a chance to pick up some quality wins this week with games against St. Anne's Belfield and Walsingham Academy.
