Zak Perry, 2027, RHP, Gray Collegiate
The big, physical right-hander worked 86–89 with the fastball, pairing it with a short, sharp 76–79 slider he can land for strikes or use as a put-away pitch. Mixed in an 80–82 changeup to round out a three-pitch mix. Attacks the zone with intent and keeps hitters off balance. Strong frame and arsenal and continues to improve each time out and over the years. Went complete game on the night and held his velo throughout his outing. Battled some adversity but never wavered on the mound.
‘27 Zak Perry off to a good start here with 2 clean innings in this big matchup. Mixing in 3 pitches for strikes. Big strong physical righty
