The 2026 high school baseball season is quickly approaching and as usual, excitement is building throughout Iowa. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Iowa.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in Carroll or Cedar Rapids at the IHSAA 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A State Tournaments, but there is plenty of work to be done before that becomes reality. We hope to shine a spotlight on all teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Iowa.

They’ve put in the work, they care about getting better, and they’ve got the talent to be a really good baseball team. For us, it’s going to come down to consistency. Doing the little things right every single day. Competing at a high level, staying disciplined, and being tough mentally and physically in every part of the game. That’s what we’re going to hang our hat on.”
