Duncan Carver Named Prep Baseball NC Pitcher of the Week

Duncan Carver, RHP | AC Reynolds High School | Class of 2028

Duncan Carver goes the distance with 7 innings pitched punching out 12 in his outing last week. The sophomore was efficient firing 67% strikes this time out with no hits allowed and surrendering a lone unearned run. Find out what our scouts saw below --

Very simple and polished delivery for a 2028. Commanded the zone with the Fastball all night. Fastball has good carry to it and was very effective at the top of the zone, ranging 86-89. Slider has late break with depth, has good feel for it and will throw in any count. Sat 77-78. Also showed CH quite a bit, has some run with fade at 78. Shut down a very good TC Roberson lineup all night only allowing two hits and striking out 12, including striking out the side in the bottom of the 7th. A very high end arm talent for the 2028 class, will continue to get better as he matures and will be one of the top arms in the 2028 class. Video from his outing below.
